    Space

The lights on the dashboard blink as a YT-1930 vessel moves through hyperspace. The cold metal hand of a prototype HK model activates the message and reads it as it scrawls across the Huntress' cockpit screen. From behind it, an R-5 droid comes rolling casually into the cockpit area. RIHN's head jerks robotically as it brings the astromech droid into the viewing range of its photoreceptors. The droid whistles and beeps in droid speak as it approaches, [Who sent this message?] Query: So you received the message as well? HK-RIHN asks as he turns back to the console and readouts in front of him. [Of course i did. i thought you said Rihn was dead?] Statement: I know I said that! But it would seem that someone has gotten access to the master's command authorization codes. [now do you know it was not the master himsself?] Clarification: Yes, mechanically inferior one. I do not know that for a fact. But short of receiving a live feed of the optical data directly to my state-of-the art, built-in photoreceptors, I can otherwise confirm with a 98.6% certainty that Rihn is dead. [that percentage sounds made up to me! how did you come up with it?] Irritated Answer: I do not need to justify the validity of my calculations to the likes of you, inferior one. Your job is to perform basic ship functions. [i am far from inferior and my calculations suggest that the probability is that the master must have sent us this message somehow.] Commentary: If the master had seen fit, in his wisdom, to use you or your calculations for anything other than basic maintenance and navigational tasks, I am sure he would have had you modified to speak basic or any of a plethora of other languages that meatbags speak. [the way i speak makes my calculations no less valid.] Concession: You are right, R5-B4-6. It is not the way you speak but your inferior processing capacity and internal components that make your calculations and input invalid and unreliable. [So are we going to follow the directions or not?] Answer: Of course, you moronic droid! We will follow the directions sent in this mysterious message from this unknown person. The access codes and encryption are all well within known operating protocols. [You could have just said that to begin with.] Request: Inferior one, plot us a course for Coruscant. [oh. So now you need me?] Recitation: We have a date with destiny! Within the course of a few minutes the Huntress drops out of hyperspace and changes course. A new course is plotted before the ship is once again shot back into hyperspace. The new destination, however, will take it into the heart of the Core Worlds. Next stop, the tomb world of Coruscant. ---

    Tatooine

The message is received by a series of seemingly random droids that then proceed to redirect the message on an encrypted channel to an innocuous satellite that redirects the message back into space to its final destination...
  3. Rihn watches the sith as he redoubles his efforts and this time succeeds. Rihn gives Neo a silent golf clap, his form now resembling that of the Sith Haphaestus. "Your motto is honestly almost convincing!" he tells Neo. "But as most who get lost in their jedi ways, it ends in lies. You yourself admit that Peace is a lie. And yet look at your motto! Through Harmony, I gain Peace... Through Will, I am free.... I am the Force, and the Force is me. If through Harmony, you gain a lie, then you can never truly be free or one with the Force. Through Conflict, you gain Strength, Neo! Strength will fortify the Will that will set you free and make you one with the Force, even as I am with you." Rihn looks down for a moment and folds his arms. "I digress," he says quietly. "My true reason for contacting you was not purely altruistic. I have a favor to ask of you for old times sake." Rihn moves a little closer. He looks over his shoulder before speaking, almost as if he fears someone else might be listening in. "I need you to send a message on an encrypted channel. The channel is 484-bespin-373-752-494-84-endor-31. I can repeat this if you have a datapad or comlink ready. You will send this message to Tatooine via a secure network and it will bounce around until it arrives where it needs to go. This message is the following. I apologize in advance for it length. I'll wait until your comlink messenger pad is ready and the link is active." Assuming Neo complies Rihn gives him the following message to transmit: "49 20 68 61 76 65 20 61 20 6e 65 77 20 61 73 73 69 67 6e 6d 65 6e 74 20 66 6f 72 20 79 6f 75 2e 20 49 6e 66 69 6c 74 72 61 74 65 20 61 6e 64 20 61 73 73 69 73 74 20 74 68 65 20 4d 61 6e 64 61 6c 6f 72 69 61 6e 73 2e 20 59 6f 75 20 77 69 6c 6c 20 66 69 6e 64 20 74 68 65 6d 20 6f 6e 20 43 6f 72 75 73 63 61 6e 74 2e 20 49 6e 66 6c 75 65 6e 63 65 20 74 68 65 6d 20 74 6f 20 68 65 6c 70 20 72 65 65 73 74 61 62 6c 69 73 68 20 74 68 65 20 48 75 74 74 20 66 61 63 74 69 6f 6e 20 61 73 20 61 6c 6c 69 65 73 2e 20 41 77 61 69 74 20 66 75 72 74 68 65 72 20 69 6e 73 74 72 75 63 74 69 6f 6e 73 2e 20 52 49 48 4e 20 61 75 74 68 6f 72 69 7a 61 74 69 6f 6e 20 63 6f 64 65 3a 20 52 49 48 4e 2d 34 32"

Common Inventory: Internal encrypted comlink, Internal Storage Space with capacity of 1 kilogram for use with his toxic gas dispenser, Function Indicators, Electromagnetic Field Sensor Unit, Heat sensor unit, Power Cells, Translator unit, and Heuristic processor Back at his ship he has the following items: a utility belt, 7 frag grenades, and 8 concussion discs. Upgrades: A reverse engineered prototype model based heavily on the original HK-77 series, the HK-77 R.I.H.N model's integrated blaster arms were replaced with more traditional hands, and its head module has been replaced with a more retro 57-series look, while retaining the 77-series' internals and photoreceptors. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, HK-77's standard combat protocols have been erased and replaced with reverse engineered assassination protocols designed to mimic the earlier 47 and 50-series. The second model in the RIHN line was also further modified with different integrated weapon modules to give it further versatility when fulfilling directives. Faction Information Non-Force User Alignment: Chaotic Evil Current Faction Affiliation: N/A Current Faction Rank: N/A History: Background: HK-77 R.I.H.N. was the second in a line of prototypes that the former Hutt leader, Rihn, planned on mobilizing to supplement his growing droid army. As such the RIHN model was intended for more delicate reconnaissance-type tasks as opposed to mass production front-line uses. As such, this particular unit was secretly manufactured in the droid factory built at Jabba's Palace in the "Experiement Production Line" wing. Cold, calculating, and efficient, HK-77 RIHN model was designed to be, in the words of his late master, "a paragon of brutal efficiency." With a strange hard-angled but a cheery quasi-Coruscanti accent, at first glance the droid appear to be nothing more than a sinister-looking protocol droid. In fact, his translator unit only helps it further such a hoax. However, like the HK units that have come before it, this RIHN model was designed to utilize its assassination protocols and Heuristic learn algorithms to maximize its efficiency, whether translating for delegates during peace talks and ruthlessly assassinating force users without remorse. Thanks to the demise of the Hutt as a military faction, the RIHN series remains largely untested and lacks significant debugging. Because of that, certain flaws in the reverse engineer programming were not eliminated including HK's condescending view to all forms of biological life and the use of conditional words to prefix his sentences, typically including dry wit or slights toward one's biological form. Nevertheless, this HK-77 RIHN model, referred to as HK-78 by its designers, boasts a few modifications to its memory core in an attempt to make it "more polite and less genocidal." In fact, despite the droid's ruthless outlook on assassination, this rework of the RIHN series supposedly does not possess any hint of blood-thirst, thus "preventing HK-78 from butchering masses of people in order to reach his target" as long as memory wipes were carried out at regular intervals. After his Master's death, this model nicknamed "HK-78" continued its mission to hunt and eliminate force sensitives throughout the galaxy. While it had a decent amount of success over the first few years, HK-78 became increasingly unstable. Such instability was highlighted in it's late mission after the targeted Force User HK was hunting continued to elude its grasp. Leaving its ship behind in a private hanger on Tatooine, the droid was able to sneak its way on board a smuggler's freighter that its target had boarded, posing as a custom-Protocol droid. However, the detention device that it had rigged to the engines was discovered shortly after the ship had broken Mustafar's atmosphere. In an attempt to complete the elimination, HK-78 used its leftover supply of smuggled explosives to blow a hole in the side of the ship and send itself shooting into the sky before immediately triggering the rigged charges in the engine room. With the ship still in the process of coming in for a landing, the vessel lit up like a fireball before breaking into little pieces. HK-78, on the other hand, managed to crash land in a city area but was badly damaged in the fall. HK-78 was found by junkers and bought by a local droid dealer name Recan. While he was able to fix his functionality, he was not able to restore some of its higher functioning protocols and the damage to its memory core. HK-78 has been rebuilt and given a memory wipe and then put up for sale. HK-78 has been up for sale for some time now but has the undesirable habit of being insulting to potential buyers. Recan has dropped the price considerably to compensate for the Droid's rudeness (which he can't seem to remove even with the restraining bolt). However, this far he has not met with any success. Recan has since given up on selling the droid and instead give him a fancy paint job to further attract customers to his store. The droids unique look and paint job often attracts attention of passer-bys and gets them to take a look inside and HK-78's restraining bolt gives him little choice but to play his part... for now. NOTE: There are currently TWO known models in existence that are believed to be active. A Dark Chassis model with red "Guts" that refers to itself as RIHN and a Dark Chassis model with Red stripes that refers to itself as HK-78. RIHN is the one in possession of The Huntress while HK-78 begins stranded on Mustafar and out of range of his vessel in addition to suffering from memory processor issues. Ship Registration Name: Dead Valar (Formerly named "Wingless Seraph") Class: Patrol/attack ship Model: Firespray-class Manufacturer: Kuat Systems Engineering Length: 21.5 meters Armaments: 2 blaster cannons, 1 concussion missile launcher, 2 projectile launchers, 1 minelayer Armor: Reinforced durasteel Anti-Personnel Defenses: Vocal and Optical Recognition Appearance: It has seen better days but full functional Modifications: None since "acquired"

  6. As Neo has his hand tended to, a disembodied chuckle echoes off the walls. The echo bounces for some time, the laughter almost sounding like a mixture of mockery and pity. Then the room is still for a few moments before the voice tickles at Neo's ears with a light whisper. "Is that the lie you tell yourself, Grimm? Believe there is nothing to avenge if you would like. But the Sith mantra? No. No! Peace is a lie. And you are not free. You have imprisoned your mind and your powers in a box. Do you actually believe that a true Sith restricts his use of the force? He could care less about the lines a Jedi draws. In fact, many Sith began as Jedi and are very familiar with their powers and abilities and how to use them." Pulling back, the voice raises to more normal levels as Rihn positions himself a few feet away from Neo. He materializes once again in front of the Sith exile. But now mimicking the form, face, and voice of Canderous Bralor. "Is that why you are really hiding here, Neo? The Jedi teach the peace of stagnation. The Sith teach the opposite. That conflict forces you to better yourself. It forces change, growth, adaption, evolution, or death. This is not a Sith law. Truly, this is the law of the universe. It is why our universe revolves around war and conflict. It's why the Jedi repeatedly fail to protect their charges. Because they deny their very nature, the nature of life itself. We are all born out of conflict. For some of us, we fight change, clinging to our mother's womb in fear of the unknown. For others, we embrace it, fighting to escape and discover what true life outside of that womb has to offer. So is the Jedi and the Sith. But regardless of our choice, change is inevitable. We will be born in conflict or we will DIE. And if we don't adapt quickly enough, then yes. We certainly will die. We have been reborn so many times and yet still you run from it for the safety of your lie? There is no safety in this womb once you have been born, Neo. But Peace is a lie, there is only passion."
  7. Rihn grins widely at Neo's response. At the anger that flickered in his eyes and flowed through his veins. "You are wise to assume to your own fault in this old friend. When you and the others fell, I was but a mere Apprentice still undergoing my training under the former Chaos God Nurgle. I had yet to even know the name Kakuto Ryu, let alone any of his plans." "Huh," is Rihn's only reply. It is more the sound of acknowledging his words in a critical fashion than one to signify any sort of surprise. "Such was the Sith in those days, unstructured with no bounds, lost in their own destruction. Even with a Dark Lord to lead them, there was no leadership. Each was left to their own devices. I did not even met another of the Order until after my Lording. Then I heard of your destruction at his hands, but by then it was too late. So I joined Nurgle and his Alcazarins to make up for my absence, found my place among them in their plans to help restructure and strengthen the Sith under Lady Dominique. But even that was a lie, their own motives to place themselves into power." "Huh." "I do wish I could have been there, been able to warn you or save you. But I truly did not know. And you're right. I have hid myself away. But not in fear or in self pity. No. I hid myself away to breath, to regather myself, and to prepare for my next move. I do plan to take my rightful place, my place as a Sith Master. Under Exodus, the Sith will truly rise to a glory yet to be seen and I will aim it there with these very hands." "Huh." "There is a reason I was born with two. Haunt me if you wish Rihn, but it is because of you that this path is laid before me. Just as much as it your doing that I will follow it through. Now if you'll excuse me, I still have training to do." "Are you finished, Grimm? I did not send you away and save your life for nothing! You still don't get it! You feel it but you ignore it. You calm it even as I guide you! Those hands are the reason I sent you! You hide from your destiny! You were not meant to follow! I sent you away because you were meant to lead! But you have ran away to Mechis III and hid in its belly for far too long. Do you still not get it!? You will never be able to reach the power from within you while you hid away here!" As Neo turns to leave, Rihn vanishes and reappears in front of Neo, "blocking" his exit. "I should not have to harass you but you seem to have learned nothing from whoever you have been following! Don't mock me with your fake pity. If you truly cared you would avenge me. But no matter." Rihn pauses momentarily for dramatic effect as he tries to meet Neo's eyes. Then he continues. "You may know the Sith mantra. Their code. But have you studied their teachings? Do you understand it? You will never be able to master the force within you unless you first harness your mind! You must understand before you can unlock that power. Clearly, your masters have withheld that understanding and filled you with inadequacies, half-truths, and fallacies to keep you their slave. For so long you've relied on the brute force of unearned power! But now that power is gone. You have been left like an abandon little puppy lost in the bowels of Coruscant. And yet here I am. And only me. Nip at the hand that tries to feed you. I can understand your fear. But when you are done groping in the dark, I'll still be here. From the day we first met, I knew our fates are linked, Grimm, whether you like that or not. I will not abandon you. You have only to say my name." And with that, the apparition dissipates as subtly as it first appeared. Deep down, Rihn hoped that he had peaked Neo's interest enough that Neo would call out for him. But for now, Rihn is satisfied with watching from the shadows and waiting for the next opportune moment to continue Neo's training. For now, it would seem that time is on their side. For now.
  8. Part of Rihn is surprised that Neo wouldn't look him in the face like a man. But the other part of him isn't terribly shocked. "You may be correct old friend. But Reaper Grimm is as dead as you and the others are, and yet I remain, even in my weakened state. So what does this say about you?" "That I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees," Rihn mutters under his breath. He carefully observes the "shell of a sith" as he moves to and fro. Rihn knew that at least somewhere deep down inside some part of Oni's psyche must have registered his words. "I infiltrated the Sith just as you asked. I rose through the ranks just as you asked. But word never came. Only that of your destruction not longer after you sent me on that mission. So I found comradery in those that had taken me in. And do you know what I found? Treachery. Each and everyone gunning for the throne and each successful attempt only a delayed inevitablility, even among those I chose to once again call brethren." "Treachery? It sounds like you get out what you put in, Apprentice," Rihn replies with a soft somber tone as he watches the movement of Neo's shadow. "So I became Sith and it became me." Rihn returns Neo's glare with one of his own, "If you believe treachery made or makes you Sith then I overestimated your capabilities and aptitude. It would explain, though, why I was never given a warning that Ryu was coming." Sighing slightly, Rihn folds his arms, "But to be fair, I have myself to blame. I probably should have been harder on you. Or sent someone else. And what is done cannot be undone. But to watch you wallow in all of this self-pity and confusion? The galaxy is tearing itself apart and you're here punching dolls. No, Grimm. You pretended to die and pretended to become a Sith and a pretender you became. But it is not too late for you to do the right thing. It's not too late for you to learn the correct lessons and take the rightful place you should have taken all these years ago. Thanks to Kyrie, I am now all yours and I have all time in the world." Clasping his hands in front of himself, just below his waist, Rihn allows his gaze to linger on Neo. He was most curious to see what the former Sith protege would have to say for himself.
  9. Rihn sighs, the flickering red and grey glow of his pale visage lightly accenting the ground. He "stands" only a few feet from where Oni fell. Waiting for his droid to scurrry off, Rihn finally deciding to open his mouth and alert the force user of his presence. Standing before Neo is a ghostly figure with the appearance of a large, canine predator with black fur all over his body. His four protruding fangs moving up and down as the Gurlanin speaks. "You clearly don't get it. Subtly was never your strong suit, Reaper Grimm. I had such high hopes for you. Such high hopes for the Hutts. And even at death's door, such high hopes for my return. And yet I am awoken from my slumber only to find you weaker than ever. Failure after failure. I needed you against the Sith! But instead, your incompetence allowed one man to destroy an entire uprising that was months, if not years, in the making! And we were winning, Oni! Winning! And what of you now?! You abandon the way of the Sith to follow your own path of weakness and impotence!?" The Gurlanin's faded orange eyes glare at the sith. He pauses for emphasis before speaking over whatever reply Neo might have prepared in his defense. "Have you learned nothing from your time among them? When I sent you off, I saw a leader! Someone who would take the Sith by the throat and demand their obedience. Someone who could get the job done! Maybe not at first. But in time!" Rihn motions to Oni's injured hand as he paces. The exasperation is evident in his voice even if his alien facial features are harder to read. "Instead you hide away and play with your toys on this god forsaken planet. It's fitting after your latest blunder. First, my empire. Then the Sith throne. Now the source of your very power. What next will you lose? Or are you finally through doing things your way?" Rihn grunts with a slight sneer at the end for emphasis.

Taking the hutt back to their ships, the forces began a full evacuation of the area. Reports of the destruction of their crusader Corvette along with both Commander Orsa and Agent Tobias left the forces in disarray. Drell sat solumnly at this desk after he head the news. Suddenly entering the room, one of his officers asked for orders. "You are now the commander of the Hutt fleet, captain Drell. What should we do?" Drell stared quietly at the table for a few more seconds. "Where did we go wrong..." "Huh? Sir?" Drell looked up, "Where did we go wrong, huh? Everything was going so well. We were winning the war. We had defeated the Empire! We were at the height of our prowess..." The officer looked back at Drell bewildered, "Uh... I don't know, sir. I honestly have no idea." Drell laughed a little in a sad tone, "Rihn always said any engagement with the sith would be the death of us. It was part of the reason he had avoided them so fiercely. We had to assure that all our targets were Empire related and contained no sith bases." Drell laughed again, this time a little longer, "It's ironic that the one occasion where we had no choice would be the one time the sith showed us up." "Sir," the soldier interrupted. "We are still in the system. The Sith are not far. We are awaiting your orders." Drell looked up whistfully, obviously somewhere else, "Oh... yeah... orders. They are a funny thing, aren't they? First Umaga then Rihn then Orsa then Tobias then me." Drell laughed sadistically, "I guess I won't have long to live now.... right?" The captain laughed a little more. Moving up to him, the officer shook him hard. "Sir! Pull yourself together! The fleet is in disarray! We need you to be a leader now more than ever! Sir, please." Drell cleared his throat, "Order the fleet to hyperspace. We have no choice but to retreat. We've defeated the empire, but we are no where close to defeating the Sith. Now is our time to exit... for the time being..." "Yes, sir!" The officer exclaimed, saluting and running out of the room. Drell stared at the picture of his wife and son on the right and then the picture of him shaking hands with Rihn on the left. His eyes dropped down to the datapad infront of him. The same datapad that had first brought him the news of the corvette's destruction and the death of their current military and political leaders, Tobias and Orsa. Jerking his head back up and setting his eyes on the ceiling, Drell stuck out his tongue and bit it against his upper lip as he tried to hold back the tears. He had lost so much. Slowly, Drell reached over and set the picture of his family faced down against the table. He choked out, "I'm sorry... I didn't know. I never thought they would. Nar...was a good..." he could finished as his throat went dry and liquid fell from his eyes. Quickly wiping it off with the clothing that adorned his right bicep, Drell turned his attention to his photo with Rihn. He weakly whispered, "We did it, Rihn. We freed three systems from the Empire. We changed millions of lives. You're a hero..." Drell faltered for a second, his sadness turning to rage, "A hero that's left us without a leader, without direction, and without our loved ones..." Clenching his teeth in an attempt to hold back the tears, Drell placed his hand against his forehead, letting his head slide slowly down his arm until it rested above his elbow. His body shook as he sobbed quietly. After about a minute, a comm came through. "Captain, the surviving forces have successful retreated from the planet and we are prepared to initiated our hyperdrive." Drell cleared his throat, again wiping his face and sniffing in a little. "Good," his voice cracked. "Order the fleet to jump." "Yes, sir," the audio voice replied. Looking around him for a second to collect himself, Drell lifted the Rihn picture off his desk and placed it face up inside the top left drawer of the desk he was sitting at. Taking one last look, he likewise placed the datapad in there along with it whispering, "Rest in peace... both of you." Last he turned his attention to the picture of his family. Not turning it over he began to slowly move it towards the open drawer. However, as he held the picture, poised to drop it in, he couldn't help but look back at it one last time. Seeing the smiling faces of his wife and son brought a smile to Drell's face as well. It was the one thing he hadn't lost. Those memories. Grasping the picture frame tightly, Drell suddenly frowned. Shutting the desk drawer harshly, Drell placed the picture back on the right hand side of his desk. Locking gazes with it he muttered some last words as the vessel, meanwhlile, ripped through hyperspace. "I'll do this for both of you. I'll remember you two. And I'll never stop fighting you... never!" [And so ends the story of an alien called, Rihn]
  11. ((ah...but I actually did post the self destruct... just very craftly as I alluded to it in my last post in the space thread. Being that it's outside your range of knowledge I often hint to things and later elaborate on them being that I really hate when people use OOC knowledge against me. If you'll notice, before leaving the console room I put into a last bit of coding and sent a message. As I suggested in the last post, the message was to my droids and the coding was the self destruct. Being that you would have knowledge of neither... I think it's far to explain the action as such rather than go into lengthy detail of OOC knowledge that you could use against me. So what you're character wouldn't know... I usually hint to but don't tell you. As much as we might say different, OOC knowledge does effect decisions, even for purists.)) In Rihn's dying breaths he laughed weakly. "Goodbye...FOOL!" His head collapse backwards as the backpack on his back suddenly began beeping wildly. And then it happen. From the depths of space, an explosion lit up the stars like a second sun. Rihn has always hoped to die in a blaze of glory, but this wasn't quite what he had in mind. Of course, Rihn was already suppose to be dead. He died as a martyr on Nar Shaadda. The only difference was, this time it was for real. ((One of these days we will have to meet in a duel, Ryu. That should be quite facination. Nevertheless, congratuations on finally stopping Rihn. All things considered, it was an honor that one of the most powerful characters in the RP had to stop me. As for seeing him again... I doubt it. He was a permakill... but a fun character nonetheless. I rarely get the chance to play a character as crafty, cocky, or devious as Rihn. It's been a fun journey. Thanks everyone that's been a part of it. Goodnight. ))
  12. On his way to Ryu's original entry point, Rihn stopped at the armory. Grabbing a blaster pistol and a vibroblade, Rihn quickly pulled on an envirosuit and backpack as he headed out the exit. It was an unfortunate delay, but it was necessary. He only hoped it hadn't bought Ryu some time to catch him. Running full speed, Rihn knew that his destination was just down the corner. However, he suddenly found himself out of breath and on the ground. Without a moment more to think, the sith's foot was locked against Rihn's chest to prevent him from moving. However, by this time the initial shock had worn off and Rihn found himself smirking. As the weapon rose above his head for the kill, Rihn shook his head, "I don't think you want to do that, big man. While I was rerouting this ship I took the liberty to do two things. First, I entered the last bit of coding to initiate the self destruct sequence and, next, I sent out a message to my droids. While you were busy fighting my droids and searching for me, my engineer battle droids were busy lining your vessel with explosives. If you kill me now you aren't escaping the way you arrived." Rihn laughed, "Sure, you might be able to vacate the ship. Float around in space for a few years or land on the planet for all I care. Either way, you're stranded if you kill me. The second you try to tamper with those explosives on your ship, this whole half of my corvette goes up in flames and you can't stop the Crusader's self destruct sequence without my voice recognition and authorization codes." Rihn sighs, "I didn't come into this expecting to defeat you in battle. I had hoped to maybe see the chance after we broke Myrkr's atmosphere but as soon as I saw what you did to my bridge crew I knew that I probably wouldn't have enough time. If you want to take your chances planetside, kill me now because that's all you're going to be able to do at best." Rihn suddenly grinned wildly, "However, if you would like to bring a new era of power and stability to the galaxy with you on the top, join me. Look what I've done without you. I have more than proven my capabilities with my devastation of the Imperial forces thus far. I have defeated 'my masters' and taken their place. Imagine what we could do together. Join me and together, we can bring in a new world order!"
  13. The acting Hutt representative comes onto the screen: "Since the original terrorist attacks on Tatooine, the Hutts have come aware of the threat the Empire poses. Since then, we have set out spread to freedom and liberty to those oppressed by the Empire and locate the notorious terrorist, Nokrt. However, while we were unable to capture Nokrt, we were able to make many strides for freedom. Already, the people of Ryloth and the Hapes cluster have begun to reestablish Empire free governments under the direction of the Hutt Cartel forces stationed there. However, after the 3/29 terrorist attacks on Nar Shaddaa, our intelligence discovered word that the Empire may have indeed been producing a powerful weapon of mass destruction reminiscent of the Death Star at Kuat. In light of such intel, I authorized a pre-emptive strike against Kuat. Therefore, the Hutt Cartel and their allies entered the Kuat system and destroyed key military installations. The mission was a success. Although we have yet to discover the location of their weapons of mass destruction, citizens of the galaxy can be assure that we have and will end the tyrany of the Empire. It is regrettable to have lost so many people, civilians and soldiers alike, but such is war and sometimes those casualties are unavoidable in the war on Imperialism. Furthermore, the Hutts are going to oversee the reorganization and rebuilding of the Kuat driveyards. Through the help of us and our allies, we will bring freedom, independence, and liberty to all the people of Kuat that have suffered under the oppression of the Imperial fanatics. Even now, we have begun interrogating imperial supporters and soldiers in an effort to stop any future terrorist attacks by their organization. Have heart. United we stand!... Thank you." --Nar Shaddaa 3/29--

((nice one... but I'm not going to let you get out of it quite that easily... of course, Rihn is most likely in trouble. He doesn't know about the daemon king thing. Only the sith part. )) Rihn watched from a console as he viewed the destruction. He knew that it wouldn't have made sense to engage the sith until they reached the planet. Suddenly, though, the sith had attempted to change those plans. Rihn wasn't having it. Rerouting the bridge controls to his current terminal, Rihn reinitiated the original destination. He also set up a force feedback should Ryu attempt to hack into the system again. More importantly, though, he locked and encoded the destination. Now only his authorization codes would be able to override the autopilot. He would battle the monster at Myrkr. He would make sure of that. It was obvious he didn't stand a chance otherwise. He was currently three floors below the command deck. Entering the last bit of coding, sending off a message, and initiating a distress call, Rihn made his way towards the original location the sith had came from. He needed to keep his distance as much as possible until then. They were almost there. Just a little more. Rolling into position, 10 droidekas, 10 droideka mark II's, 10 battle droids, and 5 C-B3's now blocked the bridge exit. The Droidekas initiated their shielding while the rest of the droids opened fire. More were on their way. Rihn, of course, realized that they would serve as nothing less than a diversion. Formidable for sure, but with what he had seen so far he had no doubt that the sith would be able to handle them. Maybe if he was lucky they might even wear the sith down a little or even hurt him. However, he didn't expect them to accomplish much more than that. He just needed time and that's what they could give him. This was it. ((Ok... now to Myrkr. ))

((Cineon: You would have to fight through troops as I think it's pretty clear earlier that I landed them. Not to mention that my entire fleet is blockading the planet so there is no way you're going to get through all of them with your lone fighter. You don't have a ship like Ryu's. However, feel free to call the Empire back because my fleet strength is actually considerable at the moment, not to mention that it would give the rebels a chance to jump in and finish the final ships, destroying the entire Imperial fleet. So I'll let you land. I like your thinking. )) Flooding out of the Munificent-class star frigate, thousands of battle droids marched towards the base. Setting themselves up around the perimeters, 100 FIDO droids surrounded the outside of the main fortress. Quickly finding strategic positions, a company of 200 BD assassins set up their sniper rifles. Rolling out in quick succession, 150 droideka quickly combed the building for a once over. Following close behind, several dozen Droideka Mark II's followed suit. Next, the swarms of soldiers broke through as hundreds of swat battle droids, B2 battle droids, and B3 droids entered the complex. Following closely behind, a garrison of SD-10 battle droids and C-B3 droids come next. Slowly making his way inside, the ground commander surveyed the fortress. Surrounded by a company of 4 IG-100 MagnaGuards, 2 A-series droids, 2 grapple battle droids, and 2 C-B3's, the ground captain issued his orders. "Begin a sweep of the area. This could be a trap. We have located Agent Tobias's transmission location. He and the hutt are our number one priority. I repeat. Tobias and the Hutt are our number one priority." "Roger! Roger!" Moving deeper into the fortress, the soldiers and droids pushed on. It wasn't long before they were met by two imperial soldiers. Holding a narrow corridor, the droids poised for attack as the ground marshall moved into position. "Surrender! You will die if you attempt to fight us," he laughed. "Kiti Ra," one of them yelled. The marshall paused, "What?" "Kiti Ra," the trooper repeated now stepping out into the open. "Hold your fire," The marshall ordered his forces. Removing his stormtrooper helmet, Tobias smiled. "It's about time." "Agent Tobias. It's an honor. We weren't sure if we'd really find you." Tobias laughed, "We'll you didn't. I found you. But no matter." Pointing to the man next to him, Tobias continued, "He'll lead you to the hutt. Take me to the command ship. I need to speak with Commander Orsa at once." Suddenly, a droid's voice come over the marshall's com, "Someone has bypassed our forces and activated the largely dismantled exterior base defenses." He nodded, "Take a small force and neutralize the target." "Roger, roger." He turned back to Tobias, "Alright. Let's get you out of here." Meanwhile, a small force consisting of 100 swat droids, 100 B2's, 50 B3's, 10 droidekas, 10 droideka mark II's, 5 SD-10's, 5 C-B3's, and 5 Grapple droids advanced on the single enemy's location to pin and destroy him. All the while another force, consisting of the same compliment minus the grapple droids and B3's, set about dismantling the intruder's vessel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tobias walked the hallways leading to the bridge. Rihn grinned at his success. He was now officially dead and a martyr but more than that, the Empire had fallen. And gravely. Of course, he didn't expect the rebels to take advantage of the situation. They always seemed to come up short, even when ultimate victory was standing right in front of them. Still, he was delighted to have proven the power the Hutt could manifest. They were no longer a threat to be taken lightly. Suddenly, the Crusader Corvette shook violently as a vessel slammed right into them from out of nowhere. Somehow their entire fleet, including their entire fighter compliment had managed to miss one very swift mech. The alarms suddenly sounded as they went to full battle readiness. "Damage report! What the hell was that!" Orsa demanded. The security officer only mumbled in shock, incoherently. "Mark! Pull yourself together! I need to know what just hit us and I need to know now!" "Uh... uh... I... uh... I .... I don't know....sir... I..." Pushing him out of the way, Orsa took over. Moving over the console, Orsa viewed on the monitors. It would seem a monster has slashing through the ship on it's way to the bridge. It was no doubt a sith. Suddenly a comm came into the bridge, "This is Tobias. What the hell is going on!?" Orsa replied, "You need to hurry on up here, Tobias! We have a sith intruder." "Good gods!" Tobias thought for a second as he broke into a dead sprint. "Commander, we need to send droids to stall him. See if we can't use the ray shields. That might not hold him, but it should delay him substantially." "That's all great and good, Tobias, but how is that going to help us defeat this thing?!" "Just do as I say. Have the helmsman initiate a hyperspace jump immediately!" "Where to?" "Myrkr. It's less than 10,000 lightyears away. It should be a short ride. I'll meet with you shortly." On the bridge, the security officer brought the ray shields online. They waited impatiently as the droids were ordered to get into position. ((EDITED)) "He's moving too fast, they will never make it in time," Orsa muttered dumbfounded. "Tobias, you're going to want to take an alternate route. He's coming you're way." "Copy that... but that should delay me a few extra minutes." "I know... but we have no choice. It's been a pleasure serving under you." "Orsa?" Knowing his death was imminent, Orsa positioned himself and watched the blast doors. Suddenly they burst open, the sith quickly beheading the commander in one swipe. Standing there calmly, the war hero dead. However, not hesitating if for no other reason than self-preservation, the security officer initated the ray shields. "We've got ourselves a big one, sir." Tobias couldn't say anything. He was still in shock from the fact that Orsa was dead. He had heard the sound over the comms. His long time friend and ally was gone. Not wanting to think about it, Rihn just continued to run towards the bridge. ((To Myrkr))

Orsa listened to the incoming transmission. He sighed. Waving his finger, the communications officer reopened the channel. "Commander Kassad, I'm not going to ask you to return any of the dismantled defenses. However, I am curious how much you would sell them for. As for what is left, I do ask that you leave them intact. And no, we won't buy those off of you if you don't. But there is no need for a show of force here. We are not terribly different, you and I. I understand you're line of work and the importance of your operations here. We are sending our forces into the buildings. I appreciate your consideration in this matter. If there is anything more, we will remain in orbit for the time being. Orsa, out."

The Hutt munificent-class star frigate, Regent's Delight, the rest of the Hutt fleet consisting of two Discril-class attack cruisers, the one Marauder-class corvette, the Hutt modified Imperial style escort carrier, and the Crusader-class corvette all entered the Cardia system. Sending off a communication to verify their arrival, Orsa walked out onto the bridge deck. Surveying the area, Orsa grinned in a matter of fact way. "Drell was right. They are like scavengers. Officer, prep the landing teams. Let's see if we can't get our fair share." Orsa laughed at the comment. What concerned him more was getting a chance to investigate the buildings as well as finding the Hutt. He had received a coded transmission only hours before that had informed him that the captive hutt had been recovered. He was told to come here for pick up. Orsa casually viewed his surroundings from the bridge windows as the munificent-class star frigate bustled by his command ship and headed for the Cardia mainland. It would be only a matter of minutes before the grounds were swarming with thousands of droids and Cartel troops. His meditation, however, was broken as usual by his communications officer. "Sir, I'm receiving a message from Captain Drell." "Very well. Put him on." "Commander." "Captain. I'm glad to see you could make it." "Likewise, commander." "What can I do for you, Captain?" "We were able to make contact with the surface a few minutes ago. It would seem Agent Tobias managed to relocated the hutt during the rushed evacuation. He's in a secure underground location within the facility." "Excellent news, Drell. I'm glad to hear that things are look up." Drelled smiled with a little chuckled, "I know. They just keep getting better and better. Who would have guessed, right?" Orsa frowned a little at the comment, "Rihn maybe... but I guess we'll never know for sure. I do know, though, that this is no time for celebration. This war is surely far from over and getting cocky won't help anything." The smile dropped off Drell's face as he once again returned to a very formal manner. "Maybe if you'd seen what happen at Csilla you would understand," he muttered, looking down. "What was that, Captain?" "Nothing, sir. I just wanted to know if you would like me to contact the scavengers and notify them of our landing parties." Orsa shook his head, "No need, captain. I'll take care of the rest. Thank you for the information." "No problem, sir." "Orsa, out." As the communication ended, Orsa turned back to his communications officer. "Open communications with the scavenger vessels in the vicinity." Opening communications, the officer gave Orsa a look to verify he was ready for him. Acknowledging, Orsa turned to face the projection. "Unidentified vessels, this is Commander Orsa of the Hutt Cartel. We are currently landing troops planet side as we speak. We mean you no harm and are mostly interested in any possible Imperial intelligence, data, and electronics left behind. Most importantly, we are interested in the building itself. All we ask it that you leave the facilities defenses intact as well as power supplies and other components needed to assure it is operational. Granted, any aggression will be met with unmetered retaliation. However, we would hope for this to remain a peaceful situation." Ending the transmission, Orsa sent out a all-fleet transmission for battle readiness, should the scavengers attempt to engage them.

    Nar Shaddaa

Hoving over Nar Shaddaa, the Venator-class Star Destroyer, Martyr's Wrath waited patiently for assignment. A powerful and fully loaded vessel, it was the new pride of the fleet. The construction only recently being finished, the vessel was still being broken in by its crew. Nonetheless, she was a beauty. A marvel of engineering, she was the muscle that the Hutts had been waiting for. She was a flag ship true to the Hutt Cartel banner and mission. She was Martyr's Wrath. Sitting in space orbitting Nar Shaddaa, the vessel continually conducted long range scans in case of another Imperial invasion. However, that now seemed highly unlikely given the current circumstances. Nevertheless, the vessel was still awaiting word from the rest of the fleet on their Cardia mission. If need be, the VSD could enter the system. That was, though, only if they didn't receive word back. Otherwise, they would continue to patrol the system and keep the Hutt citizens free and safe from Imperial scum.
  19. Captain Drell watched the Empire's defeat in silence. It was an amazing battle fight by two amazingly strong powers. Sticking around afterwords, Drell also watched as the scavengers soon showed up, stripping the surroundings bare of any valuables. Instead of ordering any action, he just watched. It reminded him of some of the wildlife holovids he used to watch as a child. He shook his head a little. Finally seeing them leave and assuring the safety of Csilla for the time being, Drell called in the Regent's Delight. Entering the system, the larger ship quickly targeted the planet and broke the atmosphere. Unloading three garrisons of droid soldiers, the captain ordered them to help protect and rebuild Csilla and its defenses. Leaving capable officers in charge, Drell then contacted the entire fleet occupying Csilla. The orders were simple. Next stop, Cardia.

    Kuat

Orsa nods. "Yes. I know of these. That would be agreeable. We will send someone to meet with you shortly. Orsa out." Reentering the bridge, Orsa caught a glimpse of the Link vessel as it jumped into hyperspace. Turning to survey the bridge, Orsa smiled. "Well, boys. We've done our job. Let's take the fleet to hyperspace." Without hesitating a moment more, the fleet fired up its engines and jumped to hyperspace.
  21. Rihn

    Kuat

"Ah. So it is the Link. I wonder what they want at the moment..." Orsa paused for a few seconds. He then paged one of his officers. "Run a background check on a Lord Ganelon of Seneferia." Over the intercom an officer replied, "Yes, sir." Orsa nodded, "Good. Now to reply to his communication..." "Link Vessel. This is Commander Orsa. Uh. I'm curious as to which services you might be refering to. We currently have completed our most pressing agendas and are prepared to leave the system. If the Link has anything pressing to discuss, perhaps they would like us to visit the Casino? Or is it something we can take care of right here and now?"
  22. Rihn

    Kuat

Orsa slowly watched the floating debris created by the massive destruction the combined Hutt and Rebel forces had wraught. Their strike was successful and once again, the Empire had failed to protect its people or its interests. But even more than that, they had finally destroyed a very strategic location on the Empire universal map. Soaking up the sights for a little, Orsa was finally interrupted by the communications officer. "Sure. We have finally received a reply to the message we sent Agent Tobias." Orsa nodded, "Very good. Patch it to my office." An audio only transmission, Orsa sat at his desk as the mysterious man spoke softly. "So I hear you had success." "Yes. The shipyards are completely destroyed." The voice on the other end quitely laughed a little. "Then things have gone as planned. But I think we have crippled the Empire enough for one day. Pull the fleet out of Kuat. We'll regroup elsewhere." Orsa paused for a few seconds. "Where did you have in mind?" "Nowhere in particular. I'm sure you can see to things as you deem fit." "Uh...ok. I guess I will await our next move." "I guess you will, Tobias out." Orsa sat at his desk for a few more seconds. He wasn't exactly sure where he would like to move the fleet to next. It was obvious, though, that their work here was done. The Hutt Cartel was now a name that struck fear into the hearts of the Empire. No citizen or soldier could feel entirely safe, less maybe there was a SD floating in orbit around their system or planet. As it stood, the war with the Hutts had proven to be a costly venture to both sides but most dramatically to the Empire. Orsa nodded to himself. It's not the size of the creature. It's the size of its stinger. As Orsa sat in silence, however, a ship dropped out of hyperspace and opened up a general hail. The communications officer paged Orsa in his room. "Commander. We have a vessel hailing the fleet. It looks like a Link vessel." "Oh? We have a treaty with the Link, do we not?" "Yes, sir. I believe so, sir." "Very well. Open up communications with that ship." "Yes, sir." "Unidentified vessel. This the Commander Orsa of the Te Kandosii. Please specify your purpose for entering this sector and hailing our vessels."

    Kuat

One Discril-class attack cruisers, the Hutt modified Imperial style escort carrier, and the Crusader-class corvette, the Te Kandosii , dropped out of hyperspace just outside the shipyards. All hands moving to battle stations, the vessels power up weapons. Meanwhile, the escort carrier launched its fighters and bombers. Their assault had begun. "Send out the message," Orsa ordered his man. Nodding, the officer sent off the communication. "Send out a message to the fleet. Our priority one target is the shipyards. Leave nothing left." Moving across the deck, Orsa address Procs and Kimberly. "Are you two ready to see some action?" Orsa smiled deviously.

    Space

Meeting up in deep space, the Hutt Cartel fleet makes there last hyperspace jump towards their final destination. Commander Orsa looks back at his men. "This is it, boys."
  25. The Black Sun talks having come to a stand still, Commander Orsa now sat on the bridge of his Crusader Corvette. Having been informed to expect two agents and then head to their next objective, Orsa was not surprised when two ships jumped into the system. Allowing the ships to dock, Orsa headed to the docking bay to greet his guests. Kimberly was the first out of her vessel, although Orsa was sure Procs would soon follow. Greeting the shapely woman, the commander nodded. "Yes, that would be me. Welcome my starship. Would you like for me to have someone show you to your room and being briefing you on our current mission?" Meanwhile, having gotten the two travelers aboard, the Hutt fleet fired up its engines and jumped to hyperspace.
