  1. The laughter echoed again in a raucous cacophony of rotted throats. Two voices were not heard, for the Archivist was looking at his dismembered thrall with what almost appeared to be pity. His expression softened as he turned back to Kern, portraying a world of sadness in a single look. His Legion began to converge around Kern, their voices echoing a thousand different words, some hands empty, some holding blasters, or other implements they may have died with. The Pure white eyes of their master blinked and the sorrow was gone, replaced instead with a look of disgust. “Listen to yourself, you are no Sith Lord. You act like a child who only wants his dessert, throwing a tantrum with little restraint or consideration. You are nothing more than a Dark Jedi.” He shook his white head and stood, leaning on a long staff of black metal. “You know nothing of the Sith. Those Lords who once carved their galaxy out of a million worlds. They did this.-” he extended a frail hand. “-With restraint, with patience. It was only when they gave into the base instinct of greed and power that they fell from their grace. Until you learn those lessons you will never succeed.” His voice became solemn. And the force moved heavily. Rooting Kern’s feet to the decking. “So will you fight and die, or will you learn your lesson?”
  2. The voice was rambling, slow, distracted, as the shambling hordes escorted the fallen jedi to the centre of the ship. “Are you truly not Fynn Relmis? A miscreant shadow of him perhaps, but the kernel remains. Hidden by this terrible rage. Come now Baron, rage is for children and primitive peoples!” Laughter cackled from a thousand throats. “You see this vessel was built upon the heart of another Jedi vessel, stolen from its burial in the outer rim. It’s very bulkheads reek with death. Generational Death. It is only right that I should bring the living dead here to enjoy their temple. I serve other masters than the Sith or the Jedi. They are nothing compared to the power of the true force.” Upon entry to the great library he could see a wizened old man sitting upon a simple wooden chair, surrounded by holocrons, and a shimmering discharge of the force. The dark side was heavy in the room, and the unrecognizable man was very obviously ancient beyond his years. The nexus in the maw was feeding the terrible power that filled the room and bid the dead to walk. Behind the man stood three in very old armour. Unmoving. “This ship is not something to be claimed. You are one against a Legion. The engines cannot be powered by the force alone, they miss their key which is being brought to us by the Jedi.” The man’s pure white eyes seemed to stare off into nothing, as if seeing through different eyes. "Some which you may have known in your past life." A deep wracking cough shuddered through the old man. “Though if you wish to serve a Dark Lord, there are treasures enough here that you may have.”
  3. The Maw was oppressive to the outside galaxy, and the Eternal Vigilance sat in the middle of a slew of black holes. "Show yourself..." To the erstwhile Dark Jedi, there came only the distant shuffle of feet towards him. The ship was silent, only vague emergency power reaching the edges of the ship where the docking ports were. Suddenly the force stirred and a voice could be heard, as if carried on the wind to the fallen Jedi Knight. Sounding guttural and echoed from a dozen individual voices whose vocal chords had not been used for a decade. “Ah the first….” More feet dragged their way towards him. The dark side reaching out like tendrils from the center of the ship and inhabiting shambling forms of the dead that walked. “Come my servants will guide you to the Library. I await you there…” The dark side surged again, heavy and oppressive. “Fynn”
  4. The light of a hundred holocrons flickered as the Archivist listened to the tune of the force. The chittering of the Subjects rose and fell like a dismal chanting tune. The force moved heavily through them as the sound of distinct footfalls approached where the old man sat stooped over the large pyramid of an ancient holocron. Master. The force stirs us. A dark one approaches. A laugh returned to their wavering voices. The first of many come to take my prize.
  5. The Maw _______________________________ Laughter echoed maniacally throughout the hallowed halls of the abandoned Jedi vessel. The multi kilometer vessel hung suspended in the void near a thousand black holes. Beside the Eternal Vigilance, seemingly snuggled in its embrace was a singular corvette of corellian make, its orange striping and grey paint marking it a vessel of the Jedi Order. Its engines were dark as the midnight oceans of manaan, its white docking tube extended to the Eternal Vigilance looking for all the galaxy like an embryo, tucked into the womb of that great Jedi Vessel. The entire Jedi training ship was devoid of power and light save the archival room where a single still light flickered. The pale green light of an emergency glowrod illuminated rows of holocrons spread out in arcing circles in which sat a frail old man. His face streaked with lines of age, and there were tears upon his cheeks. The holocron in front of him snapped open, its own red light mixing with the pale green. He sighed, bringing an end to his laughter and letting the sound of shuffling feet and clicking mandrills take its place. He stood, bathed in the red light, and gestured to one of the lurking shadows. “Come children, we have much to learn.” _________________________________ HAZARD ZONE Danger Level: High
  6. Nath followed the directions, pushing the two girls, Celora and the HRD before him, while he carried the large bags of weapons through the streets until they arrived at the coordinates. He sat the large black bags down and inquired after Miss Nakamura. His face carried a wistful smile and he looked like the two girl's father. His fatherly demeanor carefully covering the excellent fighting abilities that hid right below the surface/ Their disguises as interstellar travelers had held up so far. Perhaps it would for the rest of their journey.
  7. “There is a bounty for every single member on the list, and bonuses for multi-kills. And they must be dead as iis Black Sun tradition. I will follow in my own transport then as we have a newer agent to join us as well. See you on the flip side miss Hest.” ((Sorry for the delay, I will see you on Thyferra at your convenience)) He strode next into the armoury and placed his hands on his hips looking at the young HRD and her human companion. “Now Anne are you being nice to the young miss Karth?” THe HRD curtsied smartly. “Of course Papa.” She extended her hand to Celora. “Come on, daddy’s taking us to thyferra!”
  8. “Oh you know, disruption like a speeder bomb in a mall or arsoning the bacta fields. Whatever can help bring the government to its knees I want to happen. We will pay and provide you with the materiel you desire and even give you transport to the surface and out should you need it. As for the assassination details let me grab that for you.” He leaned down and pulled up another datapad his fingers flew over the surface until a long list of names was brought up, detailing every high level corporate member of Xucphra and Zaltin Corporations. It was indiscriminate killing at its best. Perfect for the heartless assassin or the lovely entrepreneur before him. “Does that give you enough information or do you need more specifics? The Daltons Legacy in docking bay three is leaving soon will you join me on the journey?”
  9. Nath let a careful grin creep across his face as he reached for a piece of flimsiplast and scribbled a note down. He glanced to his desktop mounted datapad and scribbled down another long set of numbers. Then he looked up to the young wanna be agent in front of him and pushed the note forwards. |100,000 credits for Destabilization of Bacta Production on Thyferra, more if you are willing to partake in an assassination scheme| “We will provide resources, transport, equipment, health insurance, and bonuses if you get this job swiftly done. Are you interested…?”
  10. Nath Corun, lower Vigo of the Black Sun Syndicate leaned back in his overstuffed chair as it slowly swivelled to towards his doorway. He pressed a button and the door snapped open with a whoosh of air. He had been working for the criminal syndicate since his late teenage years and though it was nearly two decades hence, the spark in his eyes show bright and he reached out his right hand in greeting, leaning forward over his ebony desk which was littered with datapads. The hand he extended was obviously robotic and designed for use with synthskin, but he had long ago removed the outer layers, and the hand was almost skeletal durasteel. “Qi'Nali Hest, I welcome you to the Black Sun headquarters on this world. I am Nathaniel Corun, esquire. Knighted by King Heltromm of the Expanse for assassinating his pesky wife and daughter. How can I be of assistance?”
  11. “On top of this generous stipend, you will have the assets of the Black Sun at your beck and call. And the installation of generous defenses to defend this planet. Even up to a golan three and a turbolaser defense gun.” Nath slid the starmap across the table towards the men on the other side which detailed an extensive defensive plan as well as expansive shipping networks. The men would know the Black Sun’s capacity well, it was only a it more than a decade before that the planet itself had been under the Black Sun’s control. It would only benefit all involved to have that arrangement again. The Black Sun were here to help bolster this business, not leave it in shambles like the Empire had. If he was lucky, there would still be some at the company that remembered the good days. When credits and bacta flowed like Muja Juice at a jawa funeral. ((Assist))
  12. Nath carried with him a metal datapad, with financial information scrolling across the green backlit screen. He and the other black sun agents had been given the clearance to promise infrastructure building, defenses, even dedicated fleet assets to this relatively unprotected world. He walked beside his wookiee compatriot into the Ashern Dining Hall and bowed to Zalis and the Xucphra and the Zaltin Corporation hosts. Both dangerous looking men. He sat and placed the datapad on the table and crossed his legs, reaching up to scratch the stubble on his chin. “Then let us begin gentlemen and ladies.”
  13. “Well you furry sack of shit, you can see the kriffing planet in front of yer damned paws so yeah we will be there soon.” Nath shook his pristine blonde head and activated the comm interface, keying it for the Tyferrian ground based station Echo, which was their closest rotational dockyard on surface in the midst of the capital city of Xozhixi. “Thyferrian space command, this is Black Sun lead agent Nath Corun, requesting docking clearance and a meeting with the leaders of both Xucphra and the Zaltin Corporation, for discussions of a business nature.” Though the empire had taken the planet from Black Sun a decade before, there were still loyalties in the companies to the black sun.
  14. The shuttle Great Concordia emerged from hyperspace over the planet Thyferra. Hailing as an envoy from the Black Sun he requested a landing and meeting with the heads of the Xucphra and Zaltin Corporations. Nath Corun brought with him business statements and contracts to assist him as well as other negotiators. The Black Sun had intentions on this planet, but for now they would not risk the planet with violence.
  15. NATH CORUN'S CHARACTER SHEET Identity Real Name: Nathan Velentrix Corun A.K.A: Nath Homeworld: Coruscant Species: Human Physical Description Age: 42 Height: 6’3 Weight: 180 Hair: Blonde Eyes: blue Sex: Male Equipment Clothing or Armor: Black Tunic with red cape Weapon: E-22 slung on the back Common Inventory: Credits, briefcase, drugs, datapads, slicing tools Faction Information Non-Force User: Alignment: Neutral Current Faction Affiliation: The Black Sun Current Faction Rank: Agent level III History: Trained from age 17 in the Black Sun, Nath has taken part in many missions for Smash including testing bioweapons, slicing, and working closely with the Old Empire and their SEED division. At an early age, Nath showed great skill with computers over weapons and has made that his stock and trade. He is considered the best slicer that Black Sun has, spending away his hours watching over his multiple children from different women and hacking mainframes.
  16. A message came to the address that Skye Organa had provided from the holonet from a skilled tech and slicer by the name of Nath Corun. His resume came attached to the comma and was hefty and included jobs taken for such institutions as the Empire and SEED. He was perfect for the job. Attached was his impeccable headshot, with its ghoulish grin that only years of hard work and fatherhood could provide.
  17. Nath Corun was a God among men. Or at least in the Black Sun underworld, not like that mattered when trying to find dates. His well chiseled body gyrated to the beat of the trap music in the nightclub. Girls fawned over him as he passed out copious amounts of glitterstim, Pyrepenol, and giggledust. Chicks digged drugs. Or at least these glitbiters did. He continued to dance and drink until he saw his contact walk through the nightclub door, he grinned widely and pushed his way to her. He tossed a leaking bag of glitterstim behind him in the gyrating mass of bodies where it exploded in a puff of glittering dust, now activated by the humid air of the nightclub, it gave an instant high to everyone it touched. Beside the fact that it overdosed most people in the bar, it gave them a hell of a ride to heavens gates. The death toll from this day would fill up at least 4 morgues with a mix of underage partiers. In the words of a not so wise old man from naboo - ‘the death toll was catastrophic’ Speaking of cats, as the mass of gyrating humanoid bodies overdosed behind him, he grinned at the Gorvan Horansi. Not every day they got a furry in this side of Nar Shaddah. Especially not one interested in pursuing bounties. “So how can I help you miss Lainthok?”
  18. Details were sent and the Black Sun agent extraordinaire, Nath Corun stepped off the gangplank of the Little Toaster, unfortunately named by his daughter as such and which caused laughs all across galactic spaceports. He checked his comm and sent a message back to Ajani before heading to the all hours nightclub The Bounce House where he was hoping to meet her. He carried a briefcase filled with enhanced glitterstim as was his custom.
  19. Lack sun agent Nath Corun came rocketing out of hyperspace over the stern capital of Black Sun's power. He looked over to his daughter, Now twelve, and smiled. In a few years, she could apply to be a junior agent, heck she could even do that now, but they would see. It would have to be Amiee's decision. After sending the clearance codes, he landed, and walked to the boarding party. "Black Sun Agent 1159-422, back from assignment in the Imperial Remnant. Here to speak to Smash if possible." After being cleared, him and Amiee sat in the waiting room beside his luxurious office.
  20. Nath looked slightly confused. ”œA hand shake sir? I do not think that possible.”
  21. The quiet bubbling of the beakers around him, was music to Nath's ears. He almost swayed to the music as he watched Aimée playing with her gaming-pad. She was always so very bored here, she wasn't extremely interested in the beakers or the blood, she always loved it when the stormtroopers appeared. Their shining white armour adored them to her, looking like the knights in her storybooks. She even had professed that she wanted to be one when she grew up. Nath had of course given her his permission, but she was young and naive, and she had many years left to go before she could even think about joining. How precious was the mind of his first-born, if only all men and women were as kind as she. He heard the click of polished boots and knew who had come to visit. He turned and smiled, "Progress is going well sir..." He handed the man a datapad with the accumulated data, "At the moment, we need access to both DNA and their adult stem cells, so I would say it is a proper advancement for the moment."
  22. An advanced version of cloning. Or more the applicable way to transfer genetic memories from one person into their clone. It was a long arduous process, but it was worthwhile. Eventually the test subjects and their clone's memories became almost identical. The experiments did not even require an immense loss of life. All NAth had to do was press his scanning device into a directline to the brain and bone marrow, harvest a few adult stem cells, and from there, recreate the data stored within the genetic code. Though there were at times small errors, it seemed to be at this point 90% successful. The day was good, and with another cup of stimcafe, the sucess rate would be at one hundred.
  23. Nath inclined his head, and patted Aimée's shoulder. He withdrew his University of Coruscant badge, Nath Corun, Professor of Science and Archaeology He laughed slightly, "I guess I am sir, perhaps you need help there?" He had a feeling that they might, but he had no real clue, they could just decide to shoot him and Aimée right there and then.
  24. Nath could feel his skin prickle as the blasters were pointed in his direction. He suppressed his outrage at the blasters pointed at Aimée. He followed the man to the office and looked him in the eye. "I have no intentions of revealing this secret base, but as it is, I am a scientist, and a retired police officer. You see I was tossed out of duty when those private mercs CoreSec took over. What a load of crap they are." He smiled softly and looked at his daughter again, "Perhaps you are in need of a scientist?"
  25. Aimée laughed at the stormtrooper who was waiving nicely amongst the many stern evil looking ones. She stuck out her tongue at the rest. They were mean! She tugged at Nath's arm, she really wanted to meet this nice man. "Hold a sec Aimée, it looks like we aren't going to be excavating a historical ruin afterall...." Nath did his best to mimic an imperial salute, his hand extended away from his chest, at a sharp angle, pointing skyward, his palm open and facing towards the ground. "I...." He gulped, "We, we were hoping to begin the excavation of the old imperial base....I see now that...." He sighed softly, "That the empire didn't all join the GA!"
