The Shipyards at Fondor are the construction site for the Black Sun fleet. Commissioned right before the battle of the third Death Star, the fleet yards had little use in the final days as they were never put into full action and the Black Sun fleet never had to be rebuilt. As such the shipyards have been mostly used for maintenance and construction of the large cargo vessels and light strike fighters that make up the modern Black Sun armada.

The Silver Eagle touched down on the desolate, abandoned space station that had been in orbit around Fondor for some time now. It was once a neutral station that had been taken over by the Empire, but it had been deserted, for reasons unknown to either side.

Now, it was under the control of the Black Sun.

As soon as Sol touched down inside of the hangar, he brought his comlink out of his pocket, then checked on his datapad to see if Smash had included the names of any people who he could ask to help aid him in the construction of a new ship yard.

He smiled.

He had.

A number of dark, ominous looking, gray transports exit hyperspace, chock full of steel, weapons, and tools. Crews immediately survey the area above the world known as Fondor. It was ripe for what the Black Sun was planning. A formidable captain of the Black Sun sends a necessary communication to Sol Kadav.

”œLord Kadav. Numerous construction crews have arrived, at the command of Smash Daisaku. We have supplies as well. If only you give the command, construction will begin. Number One said that you have been set as the overseer in this project. With that, we await your orders.”

Hail Daisaku!

A day had passed since Sol arrived on the space station. He was relieved to have finally received a transmission from somebody a part of the Black Sun. The man on the other end of the comm told him that he had come with construction crews, as well the supplies needed to construct the ship yard.

Sure enough, glancing through the window of the station's command bridge, he spotted several freighters approaching. He smiled, stood up from the chair he was sitting in, and made his way to the hangar. He brought his comlink up to his mouth and spoke into it, giving the captain a single command, though it came out in the form of a question.

"Construction will begin immediately then, Captain?"

The frame of the shipyards was beginning to take shape, with massive docks protruding from the center, soon ready to hold massive cruisers for war, and whatever else. WAR! The orbit was set mathematically, with the utmost precision, to be in line with the planet's day-to-night cycle. The shipyards would be forever encased in the darkness of the planet's shadowy side, facing away from the nearby star. It seemed sinister enough of a plan, and along the lines of typical Black Sun machinations.

Near Sol Kadav, a large computer console sprang to life. A large text message floated from the left side of the screen, toward the right.

INCOMING MESSAGE FOR SOL KADAV: STEWARD OF FONDOR

A foot-high holographic image of a man appeared and saluted Sol Kadav.

”œLord Kadav, Steward of Fondor.”

Hail Daisaku!

Sol was standing near the window of the small, recently completed lookout tower. He had his arms folded over his chest, and turned around, hearing a bit of static coming from his computer screen. Before long, the holographic image of one of the captains of the Black Sun appeared before him. He listened to what the man had to say, before turning around to look out of the window again.

"The central station," he repeated, mostly to himself. He brought a hand up to his chin, scratching at the few whiskers that had grown there over the last week or so.

"Captain, there will be no need for a jail of any sort here," he said. "The only punishment that our enemies shall receive is a blaster bolt to the brain."

He paused, scanning the progress that the men had already made. He brainstormed for a couple of seconds, trying to think of a possible shape that the central station, the heart of the ship yard, could be. He wanted the entire thing to be a large, dark, and menacing place to those who even dared to intrude upon it. Auto-turrets would be, of course, added later on. He knew that there would need to be a good number of Black Sun operatives watching over the ship yard at all times. Smash would probably have to invest more of his money in getting better, more well-armored ships to guard what was theirs.

"Take some notes, Captain," he said, sitting down in a chair in front of the screen. "We have much that we need to discuss."

((OOC: We can discuss what it should look like over AIM. Or, you can just go ahead and make it how you see fit.))

  • 2 weeks later...

A ship carrying and addition of Black Sun construction workers had arrived slowly, the transit to the space station coming in nice and carefully. The docking process had yet to be completed, but everything was going smoothly. All the docking preparations had completed and the sequence had begun its synchronization. A soft hissing noise emitted as the vacuum of air was sealed from the bodies of men and women that could've been sucked out into its cavernous like expanse and when the passage had finally been complete people began to poor out of the transport at great speeds, masking one passenger who seemed out of place.

I walked by the crowd of people sneering as they closer to me, their smells only enhancing the headache that had been brewing within my cranium for the past two days. The pain was aggravating as I walked, each step matching each pulse of pain in my head as it bobbed. The magnitude was not nearly that of a migraine, but it was very close.

Once I had finally made it through the metal thoroughfare though, past all of the swarming people, I managed to navigate through the station quite well. My headache remained composed during my exploration and as such brought me a keener focus and a clearer mind, not so filled with the blurry cloud of pain that it wrought.

I approached what looked to be an interesting looking Black Sun operative, his head was kind of skewed; his eyes were two different colors, and asked exactly where the dormitories were. The lumbering oaf of a man looked at me admiringly, ogling my chest until I slapped him extremely hard in the face; I slapped him with the force to throw the large man into a spinning frenzy, but in the end I still got my answer.

The man had soundly collapsed, however his finger feebly pushed up and indicated a direction that lead to where I had intended, whereupon I thanked him and soundly slapped him a second time. As I moved down the hall in the indicated direction my breaths synced with my feet and I passed through yet another few meters of metal hallways eventually managing to find the dormitories. They seemed relatively new, probably due to the recent construction, but that didn't stop them from looking uninhabitable... Oh well, I thought to myself, to each is own home I guess. My thoughts echoed my hands has they felt the dust upon the room I had chosen, surprising even after it had been freshly furnished.

I plopped the few pieces of baggage that I brought with me, since they really were only a couple pieces of clothing, down on the nearest flat surface. However, already feeling the rooms clouded and strikingly pungent influence, I made through the station to hopefully find the "Steward of Fondor" as it were... I couldn't help but laugh at that name...

Sol had been watching one of the many computer screens that relayed the happenings in the entire nearly-built shipyard to the very room ”“ the control room ”“ that he hadn't left for nearly a day. The workers that Smash had sent to construct the yard were doing a bang-up job, as far as he was concerned. They had even taken the liberty to spend more time on the control room, making it nearly as lavish as Smash's office. Hell, they had gone as far as installing a bar, which was built against the corner of the room. The shelves had been stocked with various bottles of nearly every alcoholic drink that one could think of.

The windows, to his surprise, while very large, were also one-way. He could see out, but nobody could see in. This added that all too-important bit of privacy; who knew if the Republic or another faction decided to go as far as spying on whoever was in the room? It wasn't like they'd get very far; the outer defenses of the shipyard would surely do away with any imposing enemy that dared cross into the Black Sun territory. Not only were there dozens of squadrons of Black Sun fighters and freighters ensuring the safety of the station, but there were dozens of turrets and cannons well-positioned around the shipyard to further increase its security.

The second shield generator, which would be used as a backup in case something were to happen to the main one, was currently under construction on the underbelly of the central station. It was heavily guarded, as well; though it was not yet completed. Given another week, the entire yard would be completed.

Behind Sol, the two Black Sun operatives standing on either side of the door were snickering quietly, and making tactless remarks about Anilara's bust. He supposed that they figured he couldn't hear them, but he picked up on every word the two of them said.

Without turning around in his chair to look at them, he simply scanned the other monitors, eventually finding the one that showed the very corridor that she was walking through. She was headed towards the central control room, which was where he was at that very moment.

I knew from the moment I had stepped upon the metal padded entrance of this floating metal monster that I would be greeted by someone, and lead like a little girl to Sol, wherever he was, but I never knew it would be so lewd. I had been walking and waiting for a few hours throughout the large installation, checking the technical manifests, the blueprints, the maps and overall just looking curiously upon my surroundings and scoping any and every workman that passed me by.

I suppose my obvious outward actions expressed a since of dislocation, but in no way did my thoughts read as if I were lost. It must've seemed like something was wrong though for the man that had greeted me proceeded to do so as if I were a little girl.

"Hello miss, would you like an escort to the fine leader of this here space installation?", he said in a rather condescending tone, his smooth dialect slapping me across the face and sending my blood into a boil. Harmless words to be true, but something in his eyes made my skin crawl and then I saw it.

Like a rocket my hand flinched for my waist and flipped out a blaster pistol that within seconds was positioned only inches from the man's face. "You better watch where you're staring bub, or we are going to have serious problems. Now, cut the crap and let us be on our way..." I said with absolute seriousness lacing my every word, and the very nature of irritability painting a picture upon my face. The man had just started to lead on as I agreed to follow, but he seemed to be stifling something as he walked.

He carried his head forward most of the time, but I got the feeling he could see more of me then he was letting on and in a flash I went from feeling secure to exposed. My hand reached out quickly for the man's shoulder and spun him around. "Oh, and if I see your eyes on me, or hear anything audible that lends me proof of your perverseness... this blaster pistol will be the least of your worries!" I finished, carrying the man's scrunched jacket within my palm. His head was now sweating profusely as he looked into my purple eyes. I had been told once that my Indigo ovules were beautiful yet terrifying and only now could I realize what they meant when they said it. From a distance my eyes seemed to accentuate beauty, but if anyone ever got close enough to examine them; to take in every fleck as my eyes gleamed with the light of any and every ambiance they were put through, it was typically right after or right before their dying breath.

After I let him go, the man seemed to become a bit more business savvy as he sped his pace, trying not to stare. The respect was welcoming, but I knew it waned on a thread.

Eventually we navigated to the control room within where Sol was situated and amongst the complex computers and controls he sat. I looked at him with a vague sneer, but my subconscious was roaring wildly in my head, sending slight ringing noises into my ears. So, to mask my discomfort, I took no time in spending frivolous conversation with Sol. Instead, I looked around the room at everything in it - readouts, computers, transmitters, etc - despite the fact I had no idea what any of it did, for the purpose of avoiding eye contact. The only words I said to Sol were, "Hi... what is it we are supposed to do here?" and then I quickly returned back to loitering around the room.

Through the corner of my eye though I noticed the guard rejoin his friend and chuckle under his breath. A comment escaped his lips and he must've thought I couldn't hear it, but as soon as he said, "yes her chest is tha-", my hand had flipped out my blaster once more and this time at the apex of the trick it shot out three shots directly into his head. The guard stood, looking at me with a bewildered expression for the few seconds before he plopped to the ground, but all I could say was... "I told you so...".

Sol watched the confrontation - a rather short confrontation at that - between Anilara and the guard. Three well-placed shots from her blaster ended his life right on the spot. The other man had witnessed the entire thing, though he did nothing about it. He simply stood there, staring at the body of his dead counterpart, then back up at Anilara. There was a hint of sheer terror in his eyes, though he attempted to remain unagitated. He swallowed, and instead of running away or retaliating against Anilara, he simply stood there, unmoving.

~Nice shot.~

He spoke again, this time, to answer her question.

”œSmash sent me here to overlook the construction of the shipyard,”

"Nothing special" I responded quickly with no real discretion as to the statement. My tone was of neutral character and my gestures were rather centralized. I remained upon my jaunt around the room, but once I had taken in everything there was to see I couldn't help but stop and look at Sol. My continued walk around the room couldn't really be justified so my body resigned to stay still and look deep into the man's eyes.

For a brief moment I had noticed the other guard at the door reaching for his gun and preparing to shoot me, but in the same fluid motion that had been formulated just seconds before I had raised my pistol once more to my sights. I looked straight in his direction down the barrel of the now raised blaster pistol and lashed him through cruel intentions, "You put that gun down soldier or you shall be joining your friend on the floor. I hear the Durasteel tastes real good with your own blood coating it."

The guard's face turned white with terror as he resumed his position and set his rifle back in a comfortable position. Now that that question had been subtly answered, I turned my head back to Sol and paused for a moment. Just then my body went in three different directions, splitting my mind and causing my body to react rather awkwardly.

My hands were searching for a chair while my mind was trying to avoid thinking about him. However, the biggest player out of the three was my heart that seemed to be pounding rapidly, which ultimately caused me to move in a rather shaky fashion. It was an uncomfortable feeling and I didn't really enjoy it at all. After the precedent was set by the first three body parts, the rest of my body decided to follow as my head began to feel light and my knees felt like buckling.

I managed to find a chair after a few minutes, but it still didn't really help my shaking. I didn't dare speak as this was happening, for fear of what might come out and it was at this time that my mind tried valiantly to once more direct my gaze in a different direction.

A couple of moments after Anilara had taken a seat, Sol caught the guard staring at her once more. The man's eyes were on her chest almost as quickly as Sol's hand was on his blaster. It was up, out of his holster, and trained on the forehead of the guard in a little more than a second. He squeezed the trigger once, releasing a red bolt of energy, which sunk into the man's cranium and made him fall backwards. A splatter of blood covered the wall where he had just fallen, and slowly began to seep down towards the floor. A thin stream of grey smoke slowly floated from the barrel of his blaster pistol. The man's body corpse sunk to the floor, showing no signs of life whatsoever. Satisfied, Sol stuck his blaster into his holster once more, before pulling his commlink out of his pocket.

I watched with enthusiastic glee as the laser blast made contact with its destined target. The beam of harsh red light making its piercing burn upon the fragile structure of the perverted guard's body, releasing a large amount of crimson fluid that drove me bat crazy. The reaction was subtle this time, but was not lost upon my expression as a small spark streaked through my already anxious expression... Under my breath I muttered towards the man in disgust, but I felt kind of awkward. My body was still under the constraints of its awkward conflict, but with the addition of this new feeling it was rather hard to bear as I swiveled my head back in Sol's direction...

I sat in a rather unpleasant posture and barely flinched as others joined us in the room, even if their job was merely for the purpose of disposing the miscreants. My eyes were finding it increasingly hard to dodge their mark and while the target of my attention seemed obvious, I tried with all of the might I could feasibly muster to avoid it. Needless to say, I was failing miserably as small spots of sweat materialized on my forehead.

Once Sol had told me that we were going to be here a bit with no certain time allotted, something inside of me told me I should ask him something. I looked deep into the man's eyes for moments of silence, letting the memories of his kindness fill me and although my heart of darkness beat upon the pulse of bloodshed and gore, it had been the first time that I had ever felt it beat irregularly for purposes beyond my control.

No one had ever been kind to me before; no one had defended my honor as he had and although I had a similar large feeling to punch the man in the face, I had an even bigger feeling to do something that I might regret...

Feeling heavy upon my feet I began to slightly move toward Sol as he resumed his other activities. My heart was flipping around in my chest and nothing could help what happened next as I spun Sol's chair around and through once single act consummated my desire for him upon the man's very lips...

Sparks flew through my mind as the gentle but sensual feeling of the moment blew through my mind like a raging torrent of heated passion.

Sol had been watching the monitors, scanning each and every one of them. Not as a precaution, but more for his own enjoyment. He liked seeing what the crew ”“ the same men and women who had constructed the shipyard - was up to, and what they were working on. A dozen of them were in one of the hangars. As he continued to scan over the monitors, he came across the live feed that led from the medical center, which seemed to be in use at that very moment. A man was laying down on one of the cots, being attended to by a doctor. His injuries unknown to Sol, he was about to send a comm to the man taking care of him to ask what was wrong with him. However, just as he had pulled out his commlink, he felt somebody spin his chair around from behind. Instinctively, his hand met the handle of his blaster. His fingers fumbled over it, and just as he was about to pull it out of his holster once more, he saw Anilara standing over him. Confused, wondering if there was something wrong, he was about to say something, but was cut off as she leaned down and kissed him right on the mouth.

He didn't resist her kiss, nor did he kiss her back. Not at first, anyway. For the first several moments, he was shrouded in a sense of surprise, and of a building desire for her. Several seconds had passed until he slowly slid his arms around her back, rising to his feet so that she no longer had to bend down to reach him. He felt the passion”¦ the red-hot desire that she put behind her kiss, which he had to admit caught him off guard at first. Now, however, he returned it, while at the same time, caressing her back with his left hand. The various beeping and humming that the monitors made no longer registered with him. There was Anilara, and Anilara only. Anything and everything else was negligible. There was only her, and her fervent kiss. He felt very strongly about her”¦ was this a sign that she felt the same way about him?

(( Yeah. Don't want the mods breathing down our necks. ))

I romped in the beautiful feeling of the moment as pleasure pranced upon my lips, so much pleasure, reaching the breaking point upon my consciousness that my head nearly popped. had I really been so ignorant? What would this do to my reputation? I didn't care... It just felt so good. My hands instinctively groped for his greasy black hair and I gripped the strands tightly, pulling in a teasing manner with one hand while caressing the back of his head with the other. My eyes closed as the scene played behind them, red hot fire burning into the back of my lids as I slowly began to finish my kiss. The one act that had seemingly taken hours, the passion flying the time by with its red wings composed of heart strings. As I pulled steadily away from Sol my eyes casually reopened and looked straight into his...

I carefully leaned my head to the right of his and let words fall from my mouth in a slow whisper, "this will be our little secret, ok?". With those last words I returned to his gaze and my mood began sharpening back to it's normal fire. My feet guided me away from his chair and to the door of his office. I manually locked the door to avoid any intruders and, smirking, carrying myself in a rather cocky swagger back to Sol's chair, I pushed the button on his terminal to turn of the monitor and cameras that had been trained upon this room. No records, no interruptions, no stopping me from what I wanted...

Something that seemed out of my reach for so long became readily available and for what seemed an indiscernible amount of time I shared what seemed to be the best part of my existence with a man that had given me something no man ever had before. Not that I had been around long enough to see more than that, but this man was still enough to give me pause.

Once we were done I told Sol to never mention it to anyone or I would make sure that he wouldn't be able to enjoy that act with anyone else... Even if I died...

Once they were finished, they had gotten dressed. Sol turned the lights, monitors, and control console back on, so that the room was once again flooded in light. There was no evidence of their physical correspondence. The only way that anybody would find out about it is if one of them told them about it. Sol vowed, right then and there, that he would never tell anybody about what they took part in. It was their secret, and it was a secret that he was intent on keeping.

After pulling his other boot on, he leaned back in his chair. His heart was racing, though his endurance was still very high. He had Smash to thank for that, though he wouldn't be telling the man about the experience that he and Anilara had just shared. That would remain between them. Not even the leader of the Black Sun, his boss, would learn about it.

He moved over to her and took her hand, his brown eyes meeting her purple ones.

”œThat was incredible,”

My eyes glinted in the light as it turned back on and although I was back inside my clothes I still felt a bit flustered. I could still feel the pleasure; I could still feel the utter liberating feeling that had been granted to me by Sol. I shuddered slightly where I stood, and turned back to Sol as he looked up into my eyes.

There was no awkward pause, there was no jittery motions and there was no twitching this time, but our eyes met. It was like the meeting of two hearts entwined and through the darkness of our passion came some light to my proverbial black heart. I could feel it beating rapidly as I moved closer to him and once he had fully dressed I jumped into his lap. I wonder if my previous life had ever felt like this?

It was a sudden yet practiced motion as I landed carefully on his lap and kissed him on the cheek. "It was incredible... Now, I think it would be wise for us to call Smash and see what he wants us to do. I know there are some things he ordered you to do here, but I get bored easily and I don't think I would like just sitting here and waiting for things to build." I said as I looked into his eyes within a few inches of his face, my freckled face of innocence looking into his. Instinctively a bit at him and smiled, but could not explain why. My subconscious was a force to be reckoned with, but due to my present involvement I am not entirely opposed of it.

"Oh, he's the one that sent me here... Not that I didn't necessarily feel like following int he first place at the time." I said kind of receding my chin into my chest and blushing slightly.

He brushed his lips over mine and sparks flew within my mind. It was a rather small portion of the feeling that had been floating around my mind for the time, but it was still lovely. As we parted, a bit his bottom lip tentatively dragging it with me for a time, but letting it go before it hyper extended.

Feeling rather tired, I yawned in no certain direction, watching as Sol commed Smash. I listened through his speech, but as he dictated through the little machine I shifted so my legs were hanging over his left side, my butt was on his thighs, and I put my arms around his neck. I watched as his mouth moved and I fiddled with his hair a little bit, smiling as I curled the long black hairs covering his face.

When he was done I leaned my head on his shoulder and squeezed him lightly. "Why yes, I would like something to drink... How about some water... Or some nice cold Caf would be nice."

I was impressed slightly that Sol was able to carry me the distance, but I already had the feeling there was something unreal about this man. He had shown me consideration that no other man had before. Also, something about him kind of felt odd, cold and different. I hadn't the initial qualms about it especially since it didn't really effect his morals or my love for him, but now that we were done I was rather curious...

When he had cleared the distance and poured me a drink, I looked him in the eyes and smiled. As he took a long sip of his drink, the glass barely reaching his lips, I asked, "Is there anything you aren't telling me Sol? Not that I expected something to be different, but something was done to you while Smash took you underground and Angelina took me to train. Right? ... What was it?"

I kept my eyes upon his and took one long drink of the nourishing drink set before me. The taste of its juice only supplementing my previous pleasures and heightening my joy.

Sol was silent for a few moments, taking the time to down the rest of his drink. He normally wasn't one for drinking stimulant beverages, though this was a special occasion. Not only was the construction of the space station completed, but he and Anilara were together. He thought that that deserved a bit of a celebration, hence why he also took a glass for himself. The Caf, surprisingly, was quite good. He'd had a glass of it when he was visiting Tatooine nearly four years prior to him ever joining the Black Sun, back when he was still looking for work.

His focus seemed to set on her question again, to which he hesitated before providing her with an answer. His feelings for her were strong indeed, and he could sense that she also felt the same way about him. Why couldn't he be truthful with her? He had nothing to hold back from her. While he was a physically enhanced human being, he was still Sol Kadav. His morals - his principles - were still the same. He wasn't a psychotic killer, though he did not hesitate to fulfill an order given to him by the leader of the Black Sun. He was loyal to not only Smash Daisaku, but now, to Anilara Starbane.

He lowered his head, closed his eyes, but immediately reopened them. He had to tell her. There was no getting around it. She had asked him, so he would tell her.

So, he explained the full extent of his abilities, making sure to leave absolutely no detail out...

Needless to say I had expected something was different about him, but what he said about himself completely blew me away. My eyes had rested upon his the entire time to make sure he wasn't lying and by the time he was done I almost couldn't believe he was telling the truth. I wasn't mad however - I was a little jealous - but not mad.

"Oooh so you were the one that shot that rocket on Kamino. Now, that came from your arm? Interesting" I said as I put my cup of Caf on the bar and messaged his arm. I felt his skin beneath mine and the rough muscles as they protruded through his skin. I could feel some discomfort in his demeanor because he wore it upon his face and I, despite my height, tried my best to raise his head at the touch of my left hand. I looked at him with my own snide reassuring charm. "Don't be so down Sol, I'm not mad, because you are still you even if you are manipulated. In fact, knowing that you have a lot of endurance may help me later." I said, winking slightly as I walked away.

I sat back down in my seat carefully and crossed my legs left over right, keeping my eyes trained on Sol. "Now, are we suppose to just wait here? Cause ... I'm bored"

Relief washed over him upon learning that even though he'd been modified, Anilara thought no less of him. He lifted his head up a bit at her touch, meeting her gaze. He leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, thankful for the fact that she didn't consider him to be either a freak, or some sort of cyborg - which was funny, because in a sense, he kind of was. He was still the same person despite all of his ”˜modifications', though he certainly no longer fell under the ”˜Average Human' category. He was different, and he was willing to accept that. However, he was still him. Sol Kadav. What physical differences he had obtained had been given to him for the sake of his job. He'd agreed to join the Black Sun, and was willing to do whatever was necessary to earn a living for himself. He didn't consider what Smash's doctors had done to him a curse; in fact, he thought of his improved being as a gift. He was a better person because of it, and he was able to do so many things that an average human or alien would never be able to do.

He was unique.

Expensive machines paid for with stolen corporate money come to life with loud bleeps and blips, ominous hums, and a colorful display array of bright, flashing lights, as a communication comes in from Black Sun Leader Smash Daisaku for Anilara Starbane and Sol Kadav. It is highly secretive and contains information on the mission prescribed for them.

For whatever reason Smash Daisaku did not care to know, heat censors indicated a sudden raise in temperature from among two of the workers near Sol Kadav and Anilara Starbane. Strange...

"Hmm... Well it looks like Smash has sent us a comm hun. I think its time we get our butts in that direction..." my eyes went blank as an invisible hand stretched its length upon my consciousness. My mind became clouded, I couldn't think. It was almost as if I had entered a sort of sleep; my eyes were closed and my mind relaxed, but something was different. I could still feel my feet within the comfortable black boots which were practically cemented to the floor.

Chills crept up and down my back and as if the metaphoric scene couldn't possibly reach a crazier point, I heard a voice calling for me within the cloud. An apparition of myself slowly stepped within the fog; the musty fumes breaking only as I neared further the query before me. What struck me as odd though, was the fact that nothing was there. Nothing solid or true stood before me and I could find no trace of the voice that had beckoned me further.

My transparent limbs moved of their own volition toward no apparent direction, their hasty movements carrying me no further then where I started. It appeared as if I hadn't moved an inch, my feet serving an arbitrary purpose in this mysterious world and it wasn't until I heard the voice again that something began to make sense. As my head swiveled about, darkness that rivaled only the darkness of night masked my eyes, but I could see something else. A blood red strand pierced through the greasy black tendrils of the ambiance about me and only reacted when I started inching toward it. It seemed to liven itself and move as if it had a conscious mind.

However, once I reached a point, it stopped and allowed me to complete my advance. The small image began to grow as I neared it, the blackness of the air about me creeping further and further back to reveal what appeared to be a full head of red hair. It took a few seconds for my eyes to adjust, but interestingly enough it did appear just to be a head of hair. When I began to marvel over the floating toupee though, a pair of beautiful green eyes pierced the darkness as the hair had only a few seconds ago.

Words escaped my breathless apparition without my control. I could barely read them, but as it was my apparition I knew what was said...

::Who are you?::

I said to the mysterious floating object...

"I am what I am and as such of no concern to you..."

::Then why have you contacted me?::

"You must figure out on your own. If it is of your interest to figure out your past, go to where it all began..."

With those last words the object disappeared without a trace, within a cloud of grey smoke that dissipated within the darkness of my mind within only a breath.

Needles to say my curiosity was piqued. I couldn't help but feel obligated to Smash's orders, but something was holding me to what I had just seen.

I sighed heavily, my shoulders sagging slightly as I looked toward the floor. There was a certain comfort at staring at the floor. A certain relaxation could be gleaned from the retreat, but my wayward eyes fleeted back to Sol's and looked deeply into them as I closed the distance between us and kissed him on the cheek, whispering in his ear.

"Sol, baby, do you think you can handle the Gunshop on your own? I've got... I've got some place I need to go"

Smash Daisaku sent a communication to Sol Kadav.

”œYou know, we have cameras over there. I can see all the copulation. Is that a surprise? I can see an awful lot of what's been going on over there. And damn, young blood. . . Especially when the screens are covered up with articles of clothing, combined with a shade of mist, obviously brought about by the increase in the room's aura of, let's just say, body heat? I mean, shit, Jones. I see you bitches is enjoying a glass of my sparkling wine. Peace with that, but damn, G, damn. . . Shit, Holmes. Hurry the shit up.”

I looked at the comm with a fairly odd expression as our employer made known his rather odd perversion, but shook it off as a male thing. I really couldn't justify exploding at him especially, when one; Smash controlled a legion of killers and thieves, and two; he also held my job above me. However, my mind was still tugging and beckoning my legs to follow. The memories that were flowing through my mind, were dull clouds compared to the vivid ones that had lingered before. I couldn't help but slide from the room, taking with me my curiosity and adventurous nature...

"I'll be back hun... Tell Smash he's a bleeding perv! Heh. Meh, do what you want, I'll be back soon" and as the last words left my throat I blew Sol a kiss and hopped straight out of the sliding operating room doors. My mind was all a clutter as the vision passed through it once more and my drive to find out more led my feet to quickly pass throughout the entire complex to the hangar. I could feel chills rub timidly at my spine as I crawled into one of the ships, but even as my heart begged me to stay my conscience and knowledge begged that i pay this journey further attention.

As soon as Anilara had left, Sol went back over to the monitors. After giving them one last look, he shut them down. He entered an eight-digit code into the keypad, which would put a lock on the entire system and prevent anybody curious enough to hack into the mainframe from doing so. Not only was there the password that protected the station's mainstream line, but a group of three Black Sun Agents trained specifically for anything related to hi-tech technology kept an eye on the system's mainframe twenty-four-seven. Any imposing computer hacker or threat related to cyber networking would be discovered before any real damage could be done.

With that thought to calm his nerves, Sol left the control room shortly after Anilara had. Two other guards were brought in to keep an eye on it, both equipped with the ability to open a direct communication line to Sol, should the need ever arise. They were both armed with a blaster rifle, two thermal detonators, and a vibroblade. There were guards positioned at every blast door in the entire space station, all of whom were summoned by Sol's own hand. With the galaxy at war once again, one couldn't be too careful.

With his blaster pistols holstered on either hip and his gold-plated armor worn under his clothing, Sol took the turbolift to the hangar. The Silver Eagle was the only ship docked there, surrounded by several workers in jumpsuits which had the Black Sun logo sewn above the right breastbone. One of the workers, a young dark-haired woman walked up to and saluted him.

”œYour ship has been refueled, sir,”
