Jogging over to the Blazetail, Tash scans the interior of the ship for the blueprints. Spotting the datapad, he starts to use the Force to call it to him. However, he stops himself in the nick of time.

Rocketblaze said we can't use the Force at our own convenience anymore. Damn, this isn't going to be a joy ride.

Walking three feet over to the table, he picks up the datapad and studies it for a moment. Exiting the ship, he goes over to Rocketblaze and wordlessly hands him the blueprints.

Nodding at Rocketblaze's request, Tash ducks inside the Blazetail for a moment. Grabbing a pair of Elba beers and a water, he sticks them in his pocket as he climbs up to the top of the ship. Tossing the water to Garet, he pops open his own beer as he starts working on the pulley system.

OOC: Gone until Thursday.

Even though he wasn't doing as much work as Garet, Tash was still sweating to death on top of the ship. Eyeing the brutal sun, he strips off his shirt and tosses it to the side. Picking up his beer, he notices that his arm muscles are starting to become more defined.

Well, its not near a match to Garet or Rocketblaze, but it's something.

Taking a drink, he sets the bottle down, and gets back to work.

Acknowledging Raven with a nod of his head, Tash continues to concentrate on moving the logs from land out to the building. With the sun still beating down on him, and reflecting back at him from the ship, sweat was pouring down his body. Pausing to wipe his face off, he notes that Rocketblaze had taken a break from training his apprentice.

"Hey, Rocketblaze!"

Getting the Serpent Master's attention, Tash tosses his beer down to him. Reaching down for his own drink, he is surprised to see that it was empty. Setting it down, he uses the pulley system to guide another log to the building.

Walking to the side of the ship, he contemplates the ground for a moment before jumping off. Landing in a crouch, he walks back inside the Blazetail. Going over to the fridge, he pulls out one of those big packs of water bottles. Setting them on a table, he looks around for something to carry them in. Spotting a small cooler, he picks it up and sets the bottles in it.

Exiting the Blazetail, he tosses Garet another water. Turning back to the ship, Tash looks at it for a moment, and then at the cooler. He had no idea how he was going to be able to climb the ship again while holding the cooler. Standing there for a few moments, he checks to see if Rocketblaze was watching. Unable to see him, he chucks the cooler upwards. Watching it soar about halfway up the ship, Tash reaches for the Force to push it the rest of the way up. Hearing it land, he starts on his own climb up.

Landing hard on his ass, and more importantly, on his new wound, Tash grits his teeth and wait for the pain to recede. Most of it does, but he was pretty sure that he was going to end up with a bruise. Slowly standing up, he starts to build a shield around his mind, so that he can mentally complain to himself.

Moving back over to the ship, he starts to climb back up, but at a reduced pace, due to his new injuries.

Damn it, that stings! And how was that being lazy? There is no way I could have carried that cooler and made it up to the top of the ship.

Mumbling and grumbling behind his shields, Tash soon makes it to the top of the ship, and mechanically goes to work.

Feeling the Force push against his mental shield, Tash breaks out of his little reverie. Reaching out through the Force, he traces the probe back to Fatal Raven.

Aw, hell no.

Starting to turn around to face Raven, Tash gets pushed off of the ship. Reaching for the Force, he slows his descent. Pausing about a meter off of the ground, he lifts his head and stares at Raven.

I'll ask forgiveness later. This new guy has got to learn a lesson.

Swiftly and viciously, Tash embraces Raven in a mental Force grip. Working ruthlessly, he takes over Raven's mind. All of a sudden, Raven started to have some thoughts that would have disturbed any other male.

[in Raven's mind]Why do I have this thing between my legs? It serves me no purpose at all. I ought to just get rid of it.[/in Raven's mind]

Reaching to his belt, he pulls out a wicked-looking dagger. Raising it in the air, he starts to bring it down towards his groin.

As the knife starts to pierce flesh, Tash releases his control. As Raven becomes aware of what he is doing, he lets loose a shrill scream, and throws the knife away. Looking around, he notices Tash, still floating in the air with a smug little grin on his face. Before Raven has a chance to do anything, Tash delivers the meaning of the lesson.

"Don't ever try and screw with me. Try again, and you'll definitely be singing a different tune."

Turning away from Raven, Tash faces Rocketblaze.

"My apologies for attacking your student. He provoked me, and I believe I acted accordingly and with restraint."

Setting his feet to the ground, Tash looks around at the group gathered around the lake.

Though he didn't know it yet, and probably wouldn't find out for another couple of years, Fatal Raven's injury had been slightly worse than breaking the skin. For the knife point had penetrated far enough to give Raven a rough, and unfortunately, very permanent vasectomy.

On the top of the ship, Tash gives Rocketblaze a thumbs-up in acknowledgement. Picking up his shirt, he positions himself horizontally on the ship. Balling the cloth up, he sticks it under his head, so as to be more comfortable. Spreading his arms out, he closes his eyes and works on his tan, while waiting for Garet to finish with his part of the job.

The beep of the transmission inside the Blazetail pulls Tash out of whatever little world his mind was in at the time. Looking around, he notes that he was the only one to have noticed it. Standing up, he stretches for a moment, and then jumps back down off the ship.

Reading the message while it downloads to a datapad, Tash's thoughts wander back to his former order.

Well, well, well. It looks as if they've managed to learn some manners. Now they request people's presences instead of demanding them like they used to. And Bishop is the new Dark Lord? Interesting.

He did not distinctly remember Bishop, as he had little contact with the man, but he remembered the name. Picking up the datapad, he leaves the ship.

"Hey, Rocketblaze! Got a message for ya."

Holding the datapad out, he waits for Rocketblaze to take it from him.

Also bored with nothing specific to do, Tash watches the other members of the order head off to do their individual training. Walking over to the Blazetail, he starts to climb up, but then pauses.

All I've been accomplishing up there is getting a good tan. I need to do something much more physical if I want to stay in shape. But what to do...?

Hanging onto the ship with one hand, he ponders the question for a while, before realizing that the answer was staring him in the face.

I'm pretty good at climbing, and there are some pretty big trees, and probably some cliffs around here.

Releasing his handhold, he strides into the forest, looking for a tree to start his physical training with. He had only gone in about fifty meters before a tree caught his eye. It was at least two meters around, and at least eighty meters high. The branches were spread out, so it would take more skill out of Tash to get from one to the other. Staring up at the branches, he flicks his hair, which had grown several inches since he had came to Chandrila, out of his eyes. Noticing the possible future distractant, he rips one of his sleeves off of his shirt and makes a headband out of it. Leaving the other sleeve on, for now, he walks up to the tree and gets started.

Placing his hand on the tree, Tash calms himself down for a moment before springing off of the ground. Grabbing hold of the first branch, he swings a little and then pulls himself up onto it. The next branch was a good meter out of his jumping range, so he holds onto the tree and starts to pull himself up. Acting almost leech like, Tash uses his arms to pull himself straight, and then stuck on as he brought his legs up. Clamping his legs around the tree, he reaches out and grabs the next branch.

Repeating the process, Tash quickly covers half of the tree. Standing up on a branch, he balances himself and looks around. In the distance, he spots the figure of Raven, and he could barely see the shine of the sun off of the Blazetail. Turning back to his task, he reaches up for the next branch. They were close enough now that Tash could go from branch to branch directly, and the branches of other trees would soon be within jumping range.

Running through the trees, leaping from branch to branch, each move containing the possibility of a plummet to the ground far below, Tash focuses solely on the placement of his feet, oblivious to the rest of the world.

Springing about a foot off of a branch, Tash lands closer to the end of the branch, intending to use it like a spring board. As his momentum starts to shift upwards, and the balls of his feet leave the branch, Tash gets struck with the wave through the Force that signified the death of Ar-Pharazon.

Now, Tash normally likes death, and even revels in it occasionally. But this time it was different. The loss that the Sith in general was overpowering, and even causes Tash to black out momentarily.

However, given Tash's current exercise, those few seconds of nothingness were a few seconds that could be the difference between life and death. As the dead weight of Tash's body sails through the air, a sickening crunch could be heard as it hits the tree that had been Tash's previous target.

The pain of breaking multiple ribs rips through Tash's unconsciousness and brings him back to awareness. Flailing around, he plummets to the ground. With a sickening snap, Tash feels his left hand touch the backside of his left shoulder. As the pain sends adrenaline rushing through his body, Tash vaguely remembers the Force, and feels it rushing to his control.

Shifting molecules in the atmosphere, Tash slowly slows his descent until he stops, a few feet above the ground. Collapsing to the ground, Tash tries to breath through the pain of at least three broken ribs. Using the Force, he steadies his breathing and shunts his pain away. Using his right arm, he reaches down and pulls out his lightsaber, thumbing the activation stud. Holding it out, he releases his hold on it, and uses the Force to control it. Levitating it into the air, it cuts off a pair of branches. Floating them back down, he deactivates the lightsaber and sets it by his side. Using his good hand, he rips off his other sleeve. Flopping his arm around, he braces the sticks against it, and then wraps the sleeve around it. Clipping his saber back on his belt, he uses a nearby tree to lever himself up. With a hiss of pain, he slowly starts to walk back towards the rest of the group.

As a tone sounds in the ship, Tash stirs to wakefulness as his bacta bath finishes. Shaking the cramps out of his arms, he levers himself out of the container. Standing, dripping on the floor, he uses one of the walls to support himself until his balance returns to him. Picking up a towel, he dries himself off. Putting his clothes on, he inspects all of the various rips that had occured from his fall.

I'm going to have to replace these sometime soon. I do like the look, though.

Searching the ship, he spots a cloak he could use to cover up the tear on the back. It was just a plain black thing, but it would do. Fastening it to his shirt, Tash pauses as he hears Rocketblaze's summons. Finishing tieing it up, he exits the ship and heads to the complex.

Walking inside the door, Tash spots Raven already at the table. Giving him a small nod, he sits down in a chair on the other side of the table.

After a bit of difficulty, Tash finally manages to return his jaw to its proper and upright position.

"Hot damn."

After another few minutes, comprehensive thought returns to Tash. Noticing Rocketblaze eating, Tash follows suit mechanically. While chewing on some local animal, he goes over what Rocketblaze had just explained.

He mentioned sorcery. I wonder if that's similar to what John studied when we were at the academy.

Switching to another piece of food, Tash sends Garet a brief message.

Nodding in agreement with Garet, Tash starts to talk to Rocketblaze, but then realizes that he still has food in his mouth. Since it is impolite to talk with food in your mouth, Tash swallows the chunk of meat. Or, at least, he tries to. He had only chewed it seven out of the recommended twenty times, and it was too large to make its journey down the digestive track.

Coughing fitfully, Tash hits himself in the chest a few times, hoping to dislodge the food. When that failed to help, and breathing was starting to get hard, he falls back on the Force.

Going within himself, he uses the Force to levitate the meat out of his throat and dispels it with great velocity out of the house.

Looking around at his tablemates, he apologizes for the disruption.

"So, do you know who this 'god' guy is?"

A few hundred meters away, in the woods, a very contemplative Cineon was struck in the forehead with some very nasty meat.

"Garet, Garet, Garet."

With a chuckle, Tash uses the Force to toss Garet off to the side. Pushing his chair back, he takes the few steps necessary to move six inches closer to Rocketblaze than Garet had been.

"Winning is never that easy."

As Garet started to take him down, Tash's hand slips up to his neck and unfastens his cloak. As he hits the floor, he goes completely limp. Suddenly, with the aid of the Force, Tash explodes straight up off of the floor, muscling Garet straight up into the air. Since Garet's claws had been caught in the fabric of his cloak, Tash pulled it over his shoulder and flipped Garet head over heels.

With a little flourish, Tash reattaches the cloak as Garet lands facefirst on the floor.

"So what do you think now about my chance?"

Well, well. The big brawler has learned some acrobatics.

Clearing the stars from his eyes, Tash stands up and takes the stance of a boxer. Clenching his hands, he bounces from one foot to the other, slowly moving closer to Garet. As soon as he is within range, Tash releases a devastating right punch, which Garet easily ducks. Spinning with from the unused momentum, Tash springs up with his left foot, and executes an axe kick with his right leg.

The blow caught Garet in the shoulder, but it did little more than bend the big lizard over a bit.

Damn! I forgot how much those scales of his protect him. And how much they can hurt...

Hopping backwards on his left leg, Tash quickly re-evaluates his battle plan.

However, he wasn't going to have much time for that, as Garet charged him once again. As the Doshan's fist flies for Tash's face, Tash drops to the ground one knee and spins around. Whipping his other leg around, he catches Garet behind the knee, knocking the big lizard onto his back. Rolling backwards, Tash waits for Garet's retaliation.

As Garet begins to roll both himself and Tash, Tash howls from the pain of the bite. Clamping onto Garet, rather than resisting, he avoids most of the damage that Garet had planned on delivering. Waiting until the rolling put him on top, Tash gut-punches Garet with all of his strength. The strike had its desired effect. As Garet's eyes bulge, he releases his hold on Tash's wrist. Bringing his knees up to his chest, he slams his feet into Garet's stomach, further driving the wind out of him, and scooting Tash a few feet away.

It took Garet and Tash a lot longer to get up this time. Holding his savaged left arm close to his body, Tash stares Garet straight in the eye.

We're evenly matched... still.

Giving a small nod, Tash drops his other arm, and faces Garet straight on, with no visible defense.

"How 'bout no."

Bending backwards until he was parallel to the ground, Tash watches as the blade slowly makes its way past his torso and face. As soon as the crimson blade clears the length of Tash's body, he springs into action.

Twisting back upright, Tash does little more than shove Garet in the back. The motion, along with Garet's momentum, sent the Doshan tumbling to the ground.

Retreating a few steps, Tash keeps his arms down, showing no sign of offense or defense.

"We're on the same team now. Put your lightsaber away before either of us really get hurt."

However, the words had little effect on the frenzied lizard, as Tash's avoidance of the fight further infuriated Garet. With a red sheen in his eyes and a blood-coated mouth, Garet charges Tash once again. Tash slips to the side as Garet's cut slices through air.

"Garet... don't do this."

Bouncing off of the floor, Tash gasps as he feels, and hears, a couple of somethings snap inside of him. Rolling to a stop, Tash tries to get up, but realizes that he can't. Both of his legs had been broken, along with his left arm and multiple ribs. There was also quite a lot of internal damage.

"I never said I wasn't going to fight."

The hoarse whisper, choked in blood, was barely audible to Garet. Clearing his throat, Tash spits out a glob of saliva and blood in Garet's general direction. As the angered Doshan closes in for the victory, Tash reaches for the Force.

Garet meets an invisble wall, constructed of the Force. It wouldn't keep him away forever, but it would serve its purpose. Garet concentrates on breaking through the wall, all of his attention focused on it.

Tash reaches for the Force again, and two of the chairs at the table shoot out. They slam into Garet, the first in his side, and the second in the back. Both chairs shatter at the impact, but they had served their purpose in injuring Garet.

Taking down the wall, Tash watches Garet as another wall of swirling wood comes between them.

Struggling to take a breath, Tash feels Garet's weight pressing down on his wind pipe. A memory comes to him, from the days spent on Korriban and with the other Sith students. He had fought until there was no longer a breath in his body, and he had killed two of the other students after he had been disabled. One of them had happened after he was is worse shape than he was in now. Flashing back to the present, Tash quickly evaluates his options, what few of them were left.

Grasping his saber in his right hand, Tash moves with his final strike. Bringing the handle up, he jams the cold metal between Garet's leg, pointed up into his body. Sure, he was going back on what he had said earlier, but now he had to use every tool he had at his disposal. As the cold metal touches the scales of Garet, Tash ignites the blade.

Getting up off of the floor, Tash closes his eyes for a second as Rocketblaze touches his brow. The transfer of knowledge was so swift that Tash didn't even realize it had happened until Rocketblaze informed him otherwise. Watching Rocketblaze, Garet, and Raven leave, Tash paces the room, thinking about the fight, and his new skills.

I definitely could have handled that better. Garet showed mercy, and I should have at least made an attempt at reciprocating it. We could have stalemated again.

He had only just finished his thinking when Rocketblaze came back, and tossed the armor to him. Unconsciously listening to the Serpent Master, Tash gives an absent nod and walks out of the cabin.

Walking down to the lake, Tash sits down cross-legged on the beach. It was starting to get dark, but this was the quietest place that Tash could find.

Lifting the armor up, Tash uses the Force to raise it into the air, a few feet above his head.

I need to figure out someway for this to become permanent. I've never heard of something like that having been done before, but Rocketblaze wouldn't task me with the impossible.

Bringing the armor back down, Tash sets it in his lap, and lightly rests his hands on top of it. Closing his eyes, he focuses on the object in his lap, and lets himself go to the Force.

Using the Force, Tash goes inside the armor. Well, not exactly inside, but down to the level where he could feel the different metals, and even the different atoms. Moving from piece to piece, Tash explores the armor, finding out what makes it stong, yet so light.

If this was made to be like this through alchemy, then perhaps I can change it in a similar way through sorcery.

Blocking out the rest of the world, Tash bends his will to the armor. Changing the very molecules, Tash gives them new meaning through the Force, almost a life of their own.

Opening his eyes, Tash realizes that he had been holding in his breath. Exhaling, he notes that he feels drained in some way, yet more powerful in another. Setting the armor on the ground, Tash stands up. Picking the armor up, he slips it on over his head. Touching the armor with his mind, Tash commands it to rise.

Almost instantaneously, Tash's feet leave the ground. He hovers a meter off of the ground for a few seconds, and then tells the armor to go back down. Taking the armor off, Tash heads back to the house to present his work to Rocketblaze.

Walking out of the forests of Chandrila, a new Tash approaches the Serpent compound. Leaner, taller, and more powerful, he moves with an easy confidence inside the building. Using the Force while walking, he soon locates Rocketblaze's position, and changes his course to take him to the Serpent Master.

Entering the training chamber, Tash stands beside the door and watches the new guy while waiting for Rocketblaze to acknowledge him.

"Will do."

Folding his arms, Tash leans back against the doorjamb as he surveys Truth. The apprentice had fared well on the obstacle course, but there was still much that he needed to learn.

"You've proven that you can take down a bunch of fake droids. Congratulations. I can do that with both hands tied behind my back. What you have to learn is how to fight one person. One person with equal or superior reflexes, intelligence, and strength. Eventually, you will create a lightsaber, but for now, this will do."

Drawing the katana from across his back, Tash prepares to toss it to Truth, but then catches a glimpse of the surface of the blade. Pitted and scratched, it was of no use to anyone in the condition that it was in.

"Or not."

Summoning a droid, he sends the sword away with it, to have it repaired and resharpened. Holding out a hand, he uses the Force to open a nearby closet, and levitates a practice saber out of it.

"You'll use this. It won't seriously harm any other creature, but it will work well enough in this situation."

As Truth takes the saber, Tash walks over to the control console. Changing a few of the settings, he looks up as a lone droid floats out into the room. A hologram emits from the droid's projector. As a new figure takes a ready stance on the other side of the room, Tash turns to Truth.

"You may not take a hologram seriously, so that is why I turned off all of the safety features. Go, fight him."

Truth faces his new opponent, and activates the practice saber. As the small hum fills the room, Truth's opponent activates his own saber, and flips back the hood covering his face.

Tash retreats a few steps, watching as Truth prepares to take on Truth.

Heaving a huge sigh, Tash unfolds his arms and walks into the center of the room.

I hate idiots.

Stepping to a halt in front of Truth, Tash stares at him, deciding what to do. Settling for the less bloody of the options, as he was wearing new clothes, he snaps his right hand out and across, backhanding Truth in the temple.

"You completely missed the entire point of the lesson. You were supposed to learn how to fight another human, not to show me how to cut a droid apart."

Tash runs a hand through his hair, which had grown past his shoulders, while he contemplates how to most effectively deliver his lesson to Truth.

Using the Force, Tash opens yet another cupboard, and levitates a katana out of it. Taking it in his hand, he judges the balance of it before holding it out for Truth to take. But just as his hand was about to grasp the sword, Tash lets go, dropping in to the ground.

As the clang of the metal slowly dissipates, Tash turns around and steps five paces away from Truth.

"Now you will have to learn one on one combat the hard way. Hit me, if you can."

A sinister chuckle was the only answer that Tash had for Truth's attempted attack. Using the Force, Tash pushes Truth in the small of his back, sending him into, and then through, Tash.

"It's not that easy."

When Truth was facedown on the floor from his first lunge, Tash had fallen into the Force, using it to shield himself from Truth. In his place, he had left a faint "shadow," that any Force user with experience would have been able to recognize it for what it was.

Releasing himself from the Force, Tash materializes, a good ten feet behind Truth's previous position. Drawing upon his powers, Tash stretches out a hand, lifting Truth off of the ground and slamming him into a nearby wall. As his hand curls into a fist, he holds Truth in a spread eagle position, with his feet next to the ceiling. The katana falls out of his unresponsive hand, and lands point first in the floor with a thunk.

"You must think at least a couple of moves ahead, and try to anticipate what your opponent will do. You can usually use the Force to help you."

Striding over to the quivering sword, Tash grasps the handle and pulls it out of the floor. Taking time to check the point for any nicks, he eventually remembers that Truth is hanging upside-down above his head.

Taking a few backward steps, Tash looks up into Truth's enraged face.

"Good, you're angry. Now you must learn to use your anger effectively. Before, you just used brute force. Now, you must channel it, control it."

Opening his right hand, Tash allows Truth to fall back down to the ground, where he didn't land very gracefully on his head. As he struggles to get upright and oriented, Tash whips the katana at him. Truth freezes as the cold metal whistles past his ear, and embeds itself in the wall. Truth goes to charge at Tash again, but finds himself unable to move more than a foot. Looking at the katana, he notices that it had gone through his shirt, mere millimeters from piercing his shoulder.

"Now, try again."

Pitiful.

As the blade whistles through the air, Tash simply smirks at Truth. Focusing, he uses the Force to smash the sword near the hilt. With a clang, the sword ricochets backwards, over Truth's head. Pivoting on his knee, Tash spun around, slamming the back of his heel into Truth's ankle.

As Truth follows the path of the sword, Truth stands up, taking enjoyment out of watching Truth's head slam off of the floor.

"You won't be able to touch me with that sword so long as I am your superior in the Force. I can counter your every move."

As Truth painfully makes it back onto his feet, Tash sends the sword back into the closet with a thought.

"Now, what have you learned from this?"

Tash nodded, Truth had at least learned something from this exercise.

"That was to also teach you about picking your fights. If you are going to fight, make sure you win. Your anger, your emotions, they will fuel your power to great levels, but you must still never underestimate your opponent."

Scratching his chin, Tash ponders what to do next.

"We'd probably better get you started on how to use the Force. What has Rocketblaze taught you so far?"
