Dark Sun Station

Astrographical Information:

Mobile:

Current Location: Hidden

Grid Coordinates: H-8

Physical Information

Hyperdrive Capabilities: None

Size:

Physical Description | Exterior: Tower like in appearance, with paint of black and blue covering it. The lights from the interior can be seen from the outside.

Physical Description | Interior: The main floor acts as the lobby and reception area. Only two floors above and two floor below are full of locations for guest to travel to. The upper four levels are off limits to anyone without clearance, and not all Black Sun agents have clearance. There is a private hangar for Zalis alone, and her office is completely sealed off without a hand and retinal scan to get past the first door. The second is coded and voiceprint. The bottom eight floors are reserved off as vaults. The station has 24 vaults, each vault can hold up to twenty two thousand million credits in each. Below them are the critical systems that keep the station afloat and running properly.

Physical Description | Other:

Hangars: One main giant hangar for ships, larger enough to house five corvettes.

Tactical Information

Faction Affiliation: Black Sun

Crew Complement: 1000 crew operate the Station daily.

Fighter Complement: None

Shields: Capital ship level shielding

Armaments: Security doors, and payed security guards to protect the vaults.

Defense Protocol: The state has one defense protocol, and that is if Zalis is killed, the station explodes. Knowledge of this is it's own security, as if the station operates at full capacity, it's destruction would result in a galactic depression.

JediRP Canon History:

Created originally by Smash, Zalis took over the station and had it redesigned to be outfitted into a bank of sorts, so that she could control the galaxy's financial flow and markets.

With the billions of star systems that made up the galaxy, a very few were even surveyed, and even less were actually explored and eventually civilized. Parts of the galaxy still left unexplored even existed within the Tingel Arm, partially controlled by the Corporate Sector. Large swaths considered unreachable, or irrelevant due to lack of valuable resources.

Within the recent years, and the dramatic shrinking of the Corporate Sector Authority, many explorations had been attempted, and far too many had ended in failure. The random hyper-jumps that the Marie had taken, led them to here. An end of the road and the road had been long and fruitless. Delta sat back on the bridge, the navigation here was non-existent, too many stars, and too many anomalies.

Yet they needed to find something, so they attempted a jump between the verge of a star and a black hole. There was no room for error. The nav captain was very good, and the emerged between the two, in the void between light and dark. Delta recorded the coordinates, and ordered another random jump deep into the system of closely packed stars. They emerged next to a small system of stars and type IV planets. No use to anyone, but useful to the likes of a secret organization. They began the scanning of the asteroid belts around a Crimson planet, far away from the heat of the stars.

Delta opened his Comm and sent the series of coordinates to his comrade Crosa Hoverich. It was time to set up a base for Black Sun

Over the unexplored planet was nothing but space and the Marie. In less than a blink of an eye, Crosa's A-Wing appeared to join the somewhat lonely crew. Every time he came out of Hyperspace, Crosa couldn't help but be amazed at the speed ships could come and go throughout the galaxy. If Crosa could feel pity, he would pity the civilizations of the past, who were without the miracle of hyperspace. It was almost funny to think that thousands of years ago, planets may have been naive enough to assume that just because their grip didn't reach beyond their own atmosphere, that there was simply nothing out there. Crosa wondered if there was a galaxy far far away that was still as naive.

Crosa made a note to think about other galaxies later, when he didn't have a base to help build. This was going to be fun. Crosa Hoverich sent a message to his old comrade Delta.

"All ready Delta. Where do we start?"

The scanning process took weeks. Suitable asteroids to build a station upon were scarce and far between. Luckily the Marie had enough probes to keep up the searching. To tell the truth weeks among the stars, light-years away from the nearest scrap of civilization, made it hard on the crew.

Yet eventually they found something suitable, a very large asteroid, made mostly of metal deposits. A perfect home for a criminal organization. The Marie laid a beacon....and Delta sent the very long series of coordinates, heavily encrypted to the nearest Black Sun substation.

Soon construction would begin.

A Private Comm comes in encrypted in about 5,000 different keys that only Black Sun computers and slicers can crack, comes in at the Dark Sun Station. Within it, the business-like appearance of Sasori appeared at al holoprojectors.

"Delta, Crosa," he said first bowing slightly to both of them, "The Black Sun is to prepare for war. We will jon the New Republic in this final Dark Tide. Make sure you are ready to move out soon."

The comm ended.

EDIT: Said Omega not Crosa >.<

Well, crap, Sasori is correct.

So war was truly upon them...and Black Sun could make a difference in the end of all things.

Delta motioned to Crosa as the return comm was sent. "We will depart quickly then, Construction has begun, yet the men are tired, we will return soon."

Delta looked out to the construction, girders and mining equipment covered the giant rock. It would be a good base, yet the Marie was no longer needed here. Many other Black Sun ships had arrived and had taken over the construction.

The Marie and its escort turned and headed many a hyperjump to a different section of the galaxy...

Zalis smiled as the Supremacy pulled out of hyperspace at Dark Sun Station. It was going to be her current home and base of operations with CoreSec, Sith, Cults, and Jedi beginning to run around the galaxy. Until Black Sun had a good opportunity to strike out, she would have her agents lay low. She however, would not be so idle. She would continue to do her subtle and quiet work.

After landing, she began to get to work. She also made sure that all Black Sun agents knew that her comm was active and that she was available.

Zalis spent a total of three days on the station, getting used to how it feels before she thought up a great plan to put Black Sun back on the radar and spotlight. It was a shame that there was a lull. Since Terra and Vothe refused to respond to her call, she now sent a page to Delta. There was a plan she was forming. She would need her best man on the job with her.

Zalis allowed for a smile to flash on her face as she received Delta's response. At least there was one other who would enjoy the thrills of fun and chaos as she does. She had hoped that more in Black Sun would, but it was starting to look like only a select few felt the same way she did. So for now, she quickly loaded up her ship with all sorts of fuel and other explosive materials that the Dark Station had laying around that was supposed to be used for the construction. If it needed it down the road, she would spend her backup credits on it from her personal account. Making waves was a far better use of resources for Black Sun right now. Once the Supremacy was ready, she was off towards Dathomir.

Zalis awoke on one of the final stations and assets that belonged to Black Sun. She felt a sting of pain within her temples as the bright lights of the medbay shined brighter then what she would have liked. She rolled to her side and stood up, not being dressed at all, she began to walk out of the medbay she was in. The droid objected, but his words and warning were lost as she picked up a blaster that was set aside for her and fired a shot off into the droid. Leaving the room, she spotted a crew member walking down the hall, and he clearly spotted her and got awkward with seeing his boss completely undressed.

"You there! I want you supervisor in my office in ten minutes! There can be no delays, move now!"

She walked past him and began to move towards her office, which was located about three floors up. As she walked into her office about nine minutes later, she quickly found undergarments to put on over her legs and a pair of black pants. She just pulled out a white shirt when the supervisor of the crew walked in, caught sight of her eyes, then her chest and immediately looked down. She ignored him and continued to get dressed as she spoke.

"I have new modifications that this station needs to have installed within two weeks time. I won't accept any form of failure. Two weeks. I'm sending details down to your dataport now. Go, get everyone working on this now."

((A Double Post that will turn into a triple post later.))

Zalis sat at her desk and made her calculated plans set, moving pieces that she need in order to begin to have some fun. The station was now fully a week into the renovations that Zalis had ordered, and things were moving at the rate she expected. She with some minor discourse, she setup her holorecording that she would make that would air on the Holonet. After a few attempts, she sent it in. Once she had finished, she began to move around the station to supervise the improvements being made.

Zalis kept her eyes focused on a list that was running before her on a screen at her desk. It wasn't very well hidden, as she cared little for who actually read or saw what she was looking at. She was deeply engrossed in the details of it enough that she never heard her assistant walk in and stand next to her. It was only after a few seconds when she heard his voice ask a question that she seemed startled by him.

"Czerka, Banking Clan, Incom-FreiTek, HyperTech, and HealthiDrive Ma'am?..."

"Yes... They are companies that I am going to acquire. They have... strings that I need. Is the station ready?"

"Yes Ma'am. All the the exact specifications that you requested..."

"You pause because no one took the bite. No shame in saying in. The galaxy is not as stupid as they used to be. This new game is the only way to gain true power. You may go and prepare the droids to carry out directive 69. After that, prepare my ship. We have a few... shopping errands that need to get accomplished."

Zalis was quick to dismiss him. As soon as he left, she prepared her list, which her assistant, Akor'ketez only saw about the top five companies that she wished to acquire. If she was to become truly powerful, she would need to become so tied into the galaxy that no one would ever be able to move against her. Once she downloaded the entire list, she grabbed her black coat and threw it over her white shirt and grey pants. She arrived at her ship, where Akor'ketez was waiting, and then the two and four of her personalized droids left the station, which had now become converted into the most secure bank the galaxy would ever see...

Breathing turned to coughing, which turned to a trail of blood dripping down her chin to splat onto the grey uniform the Empress wore under her armour. She cursed her captors though she could not currently speak due the gag that filled her mouth.

Zalis let her eyes look over Dark Sun Station as it came into view rather quickly after jumping out of hyperspace. She eyed the smaller cruisers landing and pulling away as they made their transactions with the bank front for Black Sun. It brought a pure smile to her face for a slightest of seconds before she realized that the droid was beginning to pilot them towards the main hangar of the station.

“No, give clearance code ‘Sapphire-99.’ It allows for us to land at my personal hangar. I don’t want random eyes to look upon my bound guest.”

Zalis then stood up and walked out of the cockpit and towards the still slightly unconscious Empress of the Imperial Remnant. To her, the idea of getting something of value out of the woman appealed to her. Although, even she had to admit that she knew nothing of true torture. But alas, that would not stop her from trying. She bent down and checked her vitals before sending a comm to her personal droids, LP7 & WP12 to come assist her to taking the Empress to a more secured room. Upon doing that, she turned towards the landing ramp, as she was sure that the little green droid had done what it was supposed to. It seemed like a very capable droid, one that she really wanted to have become an integral part of Black Sun.

As she approached the ramp, she almost barked out at the astromech droid. “Greenie, follow me. I’m going to need your help.” As she said it, she opened the ramp to have the two droids she requested already at the bottom waiting for her. “Take the Empress to Holding Vault 4C.” She walked past the two and opened the door on the other side of the hangar, which lead straight into her office. She quickly took off her weapons and dropped them on the table and pulled up a few charts. She smirked widely as she read that Shura Cohl, the leader of Czerka, had died last night. The smirk was more due to the fact that within the contract the two of them signed, she would become the majority owner of the company upon his death.

“Alrighty Greenie, I need for you to plug in and get yourself acquainted with Black Sun files. Mainly the ones under security code Diamond7star. When you’re done there, come to Vault4C.”

Zalis threw off her jacket and walked out the main entrance of her office and took the turbolift down to where her droids had unloaded the Empress. Upon gaining access to the vault, all she could do was stare at the Empress for a moment. She was bound to a chair in the middle of the empty vault with some blood dripping down here and there from either her mouth or chin. She looked pitiful and not very powerful.

“Oh, how fast do the mighty fall. I’d ask if you’re comfortable, but I really don’t care.” Zalis walked up to her in a very slow walk. It displayed no sense of power, nor was it menacing. It was just simply a slow walk to show the Empress that she had no reason to rush. Time was an ally for the moment of Zalis. Upon getting close enough to her, she bent down slightly and removed the gag from Raven.

“Now tell me… I kept you alive because I believe you are worth sometime to me alive versus dead. I could just as easily hand you over to the Sith and let them have their way with you… What can you provide to me that makes you valuable?”

The growl of Raven attempting to speak against the gag was cut off as it was removed from her mouth. The woman in front of her was pretty in her own way, but the glint of criminality reflected off her every feature. Designed, made, corrupted. Evil. It made Raven sick to be in the captivity of one such as her but fate had its own designs. Her voice was soft, but carried with it a steely resolve that came from the years of service within the Sith and the Empire.

“You are but pets of the Sith and nothing I say will stop you from handing me over when the Master calls. So..”

She spat a mouthful of blood to cover the woman’s chest.

“Do your worst.”

As the Obsidian Phoenix exited hyperspace, he began his decent, using its transponder codes to gain access to the main hanger just as Zalis' words echoed through his clear dome. Shooting his metallic photoceptic gaze toward her, he ended the connection, instead using the code she had given and was directed toward it. Within minutes, the ship entered the personal hangar and settled with a soft thud, the egotistical droid pondering if any fleshies were capable of his skill before he shut her down and headed toward Zalis and her prisoner.

Just as he pondered on compensation for his aid, Zalis' nickname sent the R3 unit into a frenzy of binary wording that luckily most could not translate, and made a sound that nearly sounded as if he was trying to teach her his name. "Wre-wro" was what he managed to get out in binary, trying to get across his name of 'Re-Mo', but knew she would unlikely translate it. Still, he was curious about her, how she managed to capture such a prize, and decided to follow her despite his agitation.

As the two entered her office, he gazed around, gathering its layout and what it contained, her stature within the Black Sun organization likely high up or else she had other ventures that aided toward her wealth. At least that one thing, they had in common, the like of money and its privilages. And not to mention, she was attractive, for a fleshie. Yet, she managed to butcher his name again, and he simply ignored her and went about his business as he plugged himself in anyways. He was naturally a curious droid, and he wouldnt pass up this chance, even if she held no common binary sense. The thought of replacing her brain with one as superior as his did cross his mind, but very few scientists were capable of such a feat when it came to organic fleshies such as herself.

It would take awhile to sort through the files she instructed him to get acquainted with, especially the ones he managed to briefly hack open before they were relocked behind a stronger firewall system. He didnt gather much, mostly personnel files, but his curiosity has gotten the better of him. Before anyone came looking for him, he scurried out of her office and toward the direct she had ventured. When he arrived, she stood over the Imperial Empress, words being exchanged.

Just as she spat toward Zalis, Remo charged forth in a threatening manner, the circular saw whirling closely to the Empress' face as his stun probe arched with fully powered electricity at her disrespect, his optimal eye glowing red with anger. Yet, as Remo realized this, he couldn't help but wonder what made him react this way. After all, he had just met this woman.

Zalis had her lips curl in a smile at the sounds of Raven calling her a pet of the Sith. It was amusing to say the least, but nothing that even came close to striking a nerve with her. Even when Raven spit at her, the action did nothing but cement within her mind that the galaxy was indeed ready to be plunged in the crime syndicate of Black Sun. She would let her nails sink deep into the neck of those who were so ignorant to what was happening within the underworld. They will be raped from within, and I will save no one. And while she slowly wiped the spit off her chest, the droid she had recently picked up seemed to be very angered by the action of having the Empress spit upon her. As it moved to defend her, Zalis reached out her arm and placed an hand softly upon it's dome head to calm it down. After she did so, she stood up and allowed for her own smile to grow before Raven.

"Beautiful and ignorant is no way to go through life sweetheart. If you wish to believe that I am a pet, you know nothing of the underworld."

Zalis began to walk around Raven slowly, allowing for each step to make a very loud thud to ring within Raven's ear. She offered up a smile to Remo.

"Outside of those within this room, no one know's that you're alive. Outside of the droid and me, no on knows where you're at, even if they did find out that you were alive. You are here simply because I could use some fun before I plunge the galaxy deep into throat of Black Sun. We are primed to own over half the galaxy in our pocket book. The only thing that would stop me from doing so would be what you have called... a master? But since I am no one's pet, I answer to no one for my actions."

She now stopped and leaned down and rested herself upon Remo to look into the eyes of Raven.

"So... Do you have anything worth my time, or shall I plunge your precious world of Nar Shaddaa deep into the clutches of Black Sun?"

Raven forced her shoulders to shrug, the muscles twitching painfully and she let a half smile fall listfully over her lips. There were of course a myriad of insults to toss at the woman, but none that would stick to a woman such as her. They type of woman that got to the top of a criminal organization like the Black Sun had to be made of durasteel and teflon. Not to mention be capable of sleeping her way to the top, which the thought of made Raven’s eyes narrow. She hated the woman for that, for being able to go through that kind of life so easily. To dispense love and credits as she desired. Raven closed her eyes and forced a sigh. Love was a bitter thing for her, for anyone that she had loved had been lost. Cadio in his bright uniform with an easy laugh and wide heart. Now long dead, killed in the reformation wars that formed the Galactic Alliance. Kirlocca with the stern and stoic outside, but a heart that felt and loved. His warm embrace, it all flew by her as if at hyper speed. Good memories now gone. And now here she was, the last of the old imperials that had fought against the Rebellion a bitter mid twenties woman who had lost her crown to the Sith and their criminal pets.

“If you deign to conquer the outer rim when the Core worlds with its wealth of business, slaves, and resources with open before you then you are more of a fool than I. As for information, I have none, and I know that no matter what I speak I will be send before the Emperor none the less. For pets you are and pets you remain. Now kill me or sell me, I care not.”

Her voice was braver than she felt, but she kept the sloppy smile on her lips and stared with purple eyes up at the leader of the Black Sun. Defiant to the end.

Remo stood down partially as the woman's hand fell upon his transparent dome, their words toward each other lost in translation within his binary coding as much as his care to listen in. In truth, to the old droid, they were like mere bickering children, the concept of time lost upon of someone whom did not age. Only the concept of Master and pet managed to reach his thought, memories of his own bondage haunting his circuits. For the woman he had rescued, he felt a kinship. a bond, both free to do as they wished. Yet the other, a proclaimed Empress, Master and Mistress of a dying Empire, the head of the serpent before the two.

Remo's gaze turned to Zalis upon his spinning domed head as the Empress spoke her self righteous words toward her, his memories of bondage and slavery flowing through his circuits, a time he did not like, a time he wanted scrubbed from his memory bank. Yet, without that time, there was one truth he had learned, a truth that had made him who he was today, and that was if someone whom is considered a slave has the strength, they can rise above their bondage and have the life they dream of. This Zalis appeared to know and understand the same concept.

His gaze unwavering and still set upon Zalis, his stun probe reached out ever so lightly and prodded the Empress(Raven) upon the nose before withdrawing as his mechanical binary echoed a humble "Boop" and his weapons were sheathed. Spinning upon his wheels, Remo removed himself from the trio to settle his nerves.

An Empress calling a mercenary a slaver was like calling a kettle black. Money and Power was what decided ones fate, and like Remo's own Master, this Master of an Empire would face her own fall. It was the truth of life. Eventually all those of weakness become strong or die. For ones life is always built upon another's back. It just depends on the justification for how one rises. And justification is only a matter of opinion.

Zalis kept her eyes locked upon the Empress for a long while. Deep down, she had wished that the woman before her wasn't so hard nosed in her politics and self righteous ways. There was a deal to be made here, but one Raven would much rather throw away into the wind. Feeling like her words were clearly lost upon the woman, Zalis stood up and looked down at Remo, who gave the Empress a small shock. Letting out a heavy sigh, she quickly spun upon her left heel and used her right heel to get as much force as she could muster to drive it into the other woman's chest.

"Thank you for your time." Zalis said as she took a few breaths to recover from the fast and powerful kick. "I hope your self-righteousness is enough to keep you motivated through the pain." She now looked at the droid, Remo. "Her choice is made. Make her scream."

Zalis didn't wait to hear a beg or plead. She didn't even bother to wait to see if the droid would fulfill the command given. She just simply turned and walked out the door. If the Empress wasn't going to be willing to work out a deal, she held no interest or value to the Queen of Vice. She had much bigger fish to fry. Besides for all of that, she doubted that Remo would do much more than singe some hair and force bruises upon the Empress. She would have someone contacted out to do this work while she plunged many of the worlds that held a strong underworld into the fists of Black Sun. As she entered the turbolift to go back to her office, she pulled out her comlink and sent a message to Delta. "I have the Imperial bitch leader at Dark Sun Station. Send whoever you like to have fun with her." After she sent the message, she went to work on setting up a formal visit to Czerka, so she could now openly replace Shura Cohl as the leader.

Returning to Zalis' side, his gaze shifted upon the Empress before them as Zalis laid waste into the girl's chest with her elegant heel. In truth, Remo almost reveled in the action, watching her squirm from the pain, an emotion he would never truly experience himself. But this is why he loved fleshies, meatbags that could experience every horror his databanks could dream up. They were so fragile, so deliciously frail, and if he could drool, he would be doing such at that very moment.

Yet some, like Zalis beside him, were so much more. True that they were like any other fleshy, fragile and frail. But they also rose above it. They made it their power, their strength. And in that, Remo had found a semblance of respect for those that were capable of detaching themselves like so. He knew there was something about her that he liked. Shifting his gaze toward her, he made a gleeful chirp as she ordered him to make her scream.

His gaze shifting back toward this Empress, his weapons drawn once again, Remo's singular eye glowed a menacing red glow as he thought of the possibilities as Zalis departed, his binary words echoing the horror that he would unleash. But which one to begin? Where to begin? Why not use everything? Oh the questions that crossed his mind. A chirping laugh echoed through-out the containment cell as the archweilder slowly slid up her legs, the cold burning sensation deadening her nerves almost instantaneously.

Now the real fun would begin as the circular saw turned on its axis as Remo intended to filet the flesh from her bones, sliver by sliver, hoping she would remain as quiet to him as she had to Zalis. For the strangest of reasons, he wanted to prove himself to this female that led him to this place, and oh the joy he would have if she liked his work. And if all else failed, and the woman before him chose to speak, she would find his electroshock probe to be quite muting, especially if she ended up biting off her own tongue.

Raven slammed back into the chair, her back feeling like it was on fire and she could not breath, but painfully weezed, wishing she had free hands to hold to her smarting chest. THe pointed heel of the boot had pierced and cracked a rib right below her left breast, and though it was slow, the blood still stained her undertunic, but the patch of crimson on the fabric did not spread far. When the Empress had recovered her breath enough to be able to look back up, the woman of the black sun was gone, and in her stead was the astromech. And evil looking astromech if she had ever seen one. Red glowing orbitals, likely of Sith design.

Oh how she hated the sith in that moment. The sith and their rabid dog of a criminal organization. The Empress gritted her teeth and set her face into an opaque mask of calm grace. She had been tortured before in the halls of the Sith under Cathlye, but she knew she could only keep that up for so long, so she focused her gaze on the unseeing crimson photoreceptors and smiled as the circular saw spun to life.

Metal bit into the skin on her knee, burrowing up through the skin tight armour mesh and tearing it away. The Droid was precise as he traced it up to the top of her outside thigh, curling up skin like the peel of a fruit. Revealing nerves, muscles, and adipose flesh until the saw ground into the bone of her hip. It was then that the shaking started, as blood pooled and the droid started again, this time from the knee down. Her mask began to fail as tears welled up unbidden at the corners of her eyes.

'Why are you doing this?" She gritted out as the saw continued to peel away her flesh.

Zalis fell into her chair as she began to pour over some files that held the accounts of Czerka and their current state of headquarters, along with some high profile personnel files. She could tell that they had moved their main headquarters from Dreshdae to Coruscant some odd years ago, but still maintained a small presence. Since Black Sun took over Tatooine, they moved the majority of their products to the smaller port of Anchorhead alone to avoid competition. It seemed like from the recent files that the majority of the higher profiles have grouped themselves upon Taris, as it has been abandoned by all major warring factions. She quickly pulled such information and sent it to the mainframe of the Obsidian Phoenix.

As she finished with that, she looked down at the security cameras, which now showed the little R2 unit doing exactly what Zalis had requested… Inflicting pain upon the Empress. It made her smile from ear to ear knowing that the droid was loyal to her. She didn’t understand why, but somehow was growing very attached to it. Letting her own mind think for a second, she reached for her commlink.

“WP9, please bring me the upgrade software under code Crystal Spark. Authorization Nova-Seven-Two-Four.”

Zalis then stood up and sent a signal to the droid to let it know to finish up and report back to the private hangar ASAP. She then made sure that she picked out what she would need for this fun adventure trip. By this point, anything that actually produces credits is worth my time. It was the most truthful thought that she held within her own mind. Taking on the Empress was some fun, but now that she was nothing but a wasted space, she wouldn't spend any more of her valuable time on the woman. She would devote her time to bringing in more credits. And she had a plan forming that would allow for her to grab the galaxy by the throat. She would soon have her agents deployed all over the galaxy to help her achieve this.

"Why?" The Empress had the audacity to ask as Remo stripped another sliver of skin, this time from her exposed calf. Thinking to himself, The R3 unit couldn't help but chirp a chaotic laugh before leaning in toward her with a eerie binary cat call as his blades swirled around and slit both of her Achilles tendons clean in two, his binary mind could help but question back. "Why not?"

Her glowing red photosensor grew closer as the blades stopped, his electroshock probe running along her form on medium stun to increase pain yet keep her from being completely stunned as the hydrogen gas from the fire extinguisher crept upon her legs, cooling the flesh and causing the stiffness of the hardening cuts to throb and ache. He had full reign over her torture, that was, until Zalis comes him. His gaze shifting back toward the Empress, he sent one last fully powered electroshock pulse into the base of her neck, intent on frying her neural pathways and leaving her paraplegic before he departed.

Arriving at the hangar, Remo wheeled in almost happily chirpful. He finally had a chance to release his anguish upon someone, the fleshies whom built and used his kind toward their own goals. His arm reached up, rubbing the place where the restraining bolt once sat, and knowing the damage he had done to the self proclaimed Empress satisfied his hatred for the moment. Rolling up to Zalis, he chirped inaudible questions along the lines of "What's next?" as he came to a stop, his eye glowing red with pleasure.

Indeed... what's next.

Zalis walked into the main hold of Obsidian Phoenix where she was met by WP9, who quickly extended a case that held the upgrade she requested. With a smile, she took it from the droids hands.

“Thank you WP9. Please go back to vault 4C and finish up for me. Initiate protocol seven with our guest, then clean up. Also, have agent Coltsoin up the security of the vaults until I return.”

Almost as soon as she finished, the green R2 unit came rolling into the main hold. She walked up to the droid and leaned down to one knee and offered up a smile as she placed the case upon her knee and opened it to reveal th upgrade disc.

“This is called Crystal Spark. It’s a program designed for trusted droids within Black Sun. I think I’d like for you to have it. It will allow for you to open any file within the Black Sun network, even remotely. It also upgrades your systems to know how to defend yourself. I won’t force it upon you… yet. But for now, we have a need to travel to Taris. It will be just you and me this time as we begin to establish the foothold on those worlds that are struggling.”

Zalis didn’t say anything more. She simply laid the case next to the droid and then stood up and walked herself to the bridge. She had a need to get Czerka under her thumb quickly before anyone thought to move on them.

Remo's lens stared cautiously toward the red haired woman as she spoke, still leery of her due to her sentient species. But that was to be expected considering his past. Yet there was something calming about her, something familiar that translated his ability to trust her. Even as she finished and stood, he ironically felt little doubt behind her motives and quickly accessed the disk she had presented. A small lingering chirp was emitted from his form as he powered down as the disk rebooted his core and began the updates.

Initializing Crystal Spark.exe....

Open....

Run....

Crystal Spark Initialized.

Remo chirped once again as his programming came back online and he noticed that outside the update, nothing had been tampered with. Relieved, he strolled over beside Zalis and chirped an appreciative "thank you" as he gazed outward into the distant stars as they began to blur into lines of purple and white swirls. They were now on their way.

(Forgive the prolonged absence. Holidays and colds do not mix well.)

Raven sat still bleeding, in and out of consciousness, drifting from one world to another. He voice was tired, soft, and echoed in the empty prison. As blood dripped like water from ice down the chair to which she was tied.

"Kirlocca, are you there?"

She knew there was no answer, but she yearned for anyone. For anything.

<< Why do you despair? >>

The voice was soft, yet deep and firm. The blueish aura that surrounded Kirlocca gave off a soft glow to the room as the once Jedi Master walked towards Raven.

<< Is not the Force also present here? >>

While he knew that his touch would be hollow to her, he still reached his paw to touch her cheek.
