In a burst of speed most unbecoming of a human, Black was face to face with Sikuus within a second. Sikuus' blaster was pressed against Black's stomach while Heaven was pressed directly against Sikuus' forehead. The both paused to look at each other for a moment. Sikuus with a world of fear resting on his shoulder and Black staring back expressionless behind his sunglasses and sweet smelling cigarette.

"Your move, Garret."

Movement behind Black told him the woman was on the run. His second arm was raised to how hold Hell, aiming at the back of the hooker's head.

"You can die here, in this hovel of a planet where no one will help you as you lay on the floor bleeding, for what could be hours if I shoot you right. Or you can put on these cuffs and get on my ship. You're going to die friend. You just have the luxury of choosing how, when, and where. And don't get all If I'm going down, I'm taking you down with me. That little pea shooter isn't going to do anything to me."

Black new full and well his armor could resist a blaster shot, but at this range he'd get a little burned. He stared coldly back at Sikuus, offering no movement or emotion.

*Sikuus weighs his options. Any attempt to escape or fight back would most likely simply mean that he would be going back to Corellia in a lot of pain rather than simply bound. Besides, Corellia was a long way away. Anything could happen in the interim.

Sikuus unhooks his index finger from the trigger and drops the blaster on the floor.*

'You win, mate. I'll not fight ye.'

"Excellent"

The gun holding the hooker in place returned to it's holster, returning from the folds of his coat with a pair of stun cuffs. He dropped them on the floor in front of Sikuus.

"Put these on, behind your back."

Now with a free hand, Black lit up the cigarette he'd been wanting for the past thirty seconds. When the stun cuffs were on, he motioned Sikuus out the apartment and on to the speeder. It was an awkward ride, holding him in place as he steered simultaneously. Once aboard the ship, Black set him in a chair, using his second set of stun cuffs to secure him to the chair bolted to the floor. Black disappeared for a second before returning with a small needle.

"What...what's that?" Reality began sinking into Sikuus.

"Just a minor sedative." He turned to see the dismay on his captives face. "Oh, don't worry, If I wanted you dead I would have thrown you off the speeder."

He readied the needle and filled it with the florescent blue liquid. Sikuus was breathing heavier. His baser instincts were kicking in. Fight or flight.

"You know, if you want, I can shoot you up before I take you in. Take the edge off?" Black remained cold and sullen.

"Heh, well at least you'd go out quietly."

The needle sunk in to his neck, forcing the liquid numb to his heart. Within moments he was out. Black waisted no time leaving the planet to head for Corellia. If it were true he had a reaction to anesthetic there'd be no reason to prolong the trip away from medical attention.

There was a lot of business that needed to be done and Slicer wasted no time getting to it. Entering the streets of nar shada, he wasn't too out of place as he began his inquires.

A vendor or two here and an arms dealer there, he slowly began to gain pieces to his puzzle. Suddenly a man by the name of Kenneth Alibek approched him. The two discussed what Slicer needed as well as other things. They went over a wide range of things and old fashioned ideas such as the the Zone of Self Containment as well as very vicious and deadly bacterium and viruses that could make a person's body shiver with the mere thought. After a discussion in length, Slicer reveled to the vendor what was bothering him.

The man disappeared for a moment and came back with gallons of what looked like water. As well as a black suitcase and a spray stick gun.

Slicer took the gun and pointed it around. It was interesting to say the least. He bought a number of them, then enlisted the help of a few burley men, to help him carry everything he had bought with him. After the clear liquid, the black suitcases and the pack of guns had been loaded. He took the two cleanest looking in the bunch, one a human man who looked like a well polished doctor, and another who looked like a weekend thug. Taking them with him, he sent his farewells to the planet and returned back to where he had come from.

Kirlocca's StarSwoard pulled out of hyperspace above Nar Shadaa. Kirlocca was quick to bring up his scanners to search out where he might find his dad, and perhaps a trap. Kirlocca found none from his scanners, but a small warning within the force told him to be wary while on the planet. After a few seconds passed, Kirlocca brought his fighter into a dive towards the planets surface. If his dad was waiting for him, it would be near the refugee sector. His father was always one to go where no one would care.

As he approached the surface, he could make out the Bloody Dragon, his fathers Venator-class Star Destroyer that he had pawned from someone in the unknown regions. From what Kirlocca knew about it, it was operated by droids, and had bare minimal human crew, but most of them had died off by this point in life, and Xuurlor was not the type of person to bring on new flesh.

Kirlocca's StarSwoard slowly came to land around fourteen meters away from the Bloody Dragon. His father was sitting in some type of chair outside of his ship waiting for him. Kirlocca slowly climbed out of his fighter and walked towards him. Kirlocca knew better then to underestimate his dad, while the old wookiee looked like any other wookiee dressed in clothing, Kirlocca knew he had weapons of all sorts hidden within, all of which Xuurlor was fully trained in. Kirlocca stopped only feet away from him.

It seemed to be forever before his father stood up and addressed him. "I don't seem to recall you ever being one to not watch out for his own." Kirlocca could not see his dads face, Xuurlor hide it from him by standing with his back towards him. Kirlocca didn't fully understand to question that was asked of him. "I do watch out for my own...I also don't recall you ever letting a force user get this close to you without you trying to strike at him, so whats your angle?" "Ah, you do not understand why I have called you here. Perhaps you trust your fellow Jedi too much for moving your precious cargo around for you."

Kirlocca inhaled a deep breath. He began to see why he was called here. Holden, his adopted son, who should have been moved to Gala a week ago. Kirlocca just assumed they were being careful with the Arach'tar, but now he understood why. "I guess I can make the assumption that you're still alive due to grandpa's mercy on you...or would that be taking it too far?" Xuurlor turned around to show his face to his son. "Make whatever judgments you want, your so called son is now under my care..." Xuurlor stepped forward a bit to close the gap between the two before he finished. "It would also be wise for me to say that if you fail to do as I say, I will kill that brat."

Kirlocca tensed up. He was not sure he could live with the thought that he had some small part to play in Holden's death. "You won't kill him on the fact that you have failed to kill me twice now, and you failed to kill grandpa when you had the chance. And you and be both know that if you kill him, I will kill you." Kirlocca took a step back away from his father, but as he stepped back, Xuurlor moved forward towards him again. "Your ignorance will not be bliss this time," Xuurlor pulled out some sort of device. "I hold your 'sons' fate right here in my paw."

That was all Kirlocca needed to justify an attempt at Holden's life, Kirlocca's silver blade sprang to life with a snap-hiss. Kirlocca swung his blade at his dads paw, taking the tips of it off, along with the device. Kirlocca quickly reached out with the force and pulled the device far out of the reach of both of them with a small turn of his body. As soon as Kirlocca had turned fully around again, Xuurlor held two modified blaster pistols in his hand. The older wookiee gave no time for his son to react, he began a steady stream of fire at him.

Kirlocca did his best to move and keep up with deflecting to constant shots being fired off by his dad, but it was a losing game from this distance, a distance that Kirlocca put there himself. Within a split second, Kirlocca made a decision to end the constant stream of fire directed at him. Kirlocca was flipping through the air towards his father. Xuurlor was old and was unable to keep a steady fire rate with the speed that his son had called to himself with the force. Kirlocca landed only inches away from Xuurlor, blade in an upwards motion, destroying one the blasters, while his foot went up and knocked the other right out of his hand.

Kirlocca quickly moved to take out his dad from what could be a very long battle by swinging at his legs. Xuurlor jumped into the air, and midair drew a vibro ax, bringing it down at his own sons head. Kirlocca moved quickly to roll out of harms way, but quickly brought up his blade, destroying the weapon quickly. Xuurlor started to slowly back away, but Kirlocca knew he had a few more tricks up his sleeve. His father was not one to so willing let a force user beat him. After he was about six meters away, he drew a lightwhip.

Xuurlor swung it before he activated it right at Kirlocca's face, a move the Jedi master was not expecting, and took a painful lash right under his left eye for it. The moment Xuurlor pulled it off for another attack, he activated it, making it deadly with every swing. But this time, Kirlocca was ready for the attack, purposefully letting it wrap and tangle with his blade. After a second of his dad struggling to pull his whip away from the blade, Kirlocca pulled hard on his end, dragging his father through the air towards him.

Xuurlor landed with a strong tug of his own, pulling Kirlocca's hilt right out of his hand. Xuurlor made a quick move to swing at him again, but as he did, Kirlocca reach out with the force and pulled the discarded blaster that he had kicked out of his fathers paw just moments ago to his hand. Kirlocca made a quick trigger pull and shot his dad. Kirlocca had aimed for his head, but hit his neck, throwing him to the ground. Kirlocca assumed that it was all over and began to walk towards his fallen dad, but he was wrong. The whip went up again and wrapped itself around Kirlocca's neck, choking him out. Seconds passed before Xuurlor activated it again, making it burn the sons neck.

Kirlocca was not all surprised to find that his dad lived through the shot, after all, it was not uncommon for a wookiee to survive a few blaster bolts before dying off. He made a quick move as the whip began to burn his neck, he fired off three shots from the blaster into his dad's gut. The whip deactivated as Xuurlor's hand fell to the ground. Kirlocca fell to one knee as he did his best to catch his breath. After a few seconds, he slowly walked over to his dad's side.

"...Yo...You still wont be able to save him." Xuurlor coughed out some blood, due to the wound that Kirlocca gave him. "...He will not be safe with the life that you ju-...just damned yourself to..." Kirlocca looked his father right in the eye. "Yeah......well that's my choice." Kirlocca lifted to blaster and fired off another shot right into his fathers head, fully killing him off. Kirlocca placed the blaster inside his ammo belt around his chest. After that, he took off his robe and ripped a part of to tie around his neck to keep himself from bleeding to death. Soon after that, he walked over and picked up his lightsaber, tucking it out of sight and then made his way towards the ramp of the Bloody Dragon.

He was greeted by a droid at the top of the ramp. "Sir, Am I to assume you are are new captain?" Kirlocca just ignored him for a second as he reached out with the force, trying to find Holden, but was unable to do so, due to the lack of blood he was receiving. He was about to walk past the droid, but then turned towards him to ask a question. "Where is the boy?" "Sir, do you mean the prisoner?" "WHERE IS THE BOY!" "Up two more levels sir." Kirlocca then walked past him, pissed off that Holden would even be considered a prisoner. As he walked away, he heard the droid give an order to his fellow droids. "Send a medical team to the prison level."

Once Kirlocca got up to the prison level, Kirlocca moved quickly to the cells to find his son. He found him sitting in the far end conner of the last cell, crying. Kirlocca quickly let him out. The boy ran straight into Kirlocca's arms. "He said he was gonna kill you and then me." Holden said as he trembled within Kirlocca's arms. Kirlocca leaned in and whispered to the boy. "Don't,*cough*, Don't worry, every thing's alright now." Kirlocca felt the part of the robe that he tied around his neck being taken off by the medical crew as they placed another piece of cloth around his neck that would actually heal the wound. The head crew droid spoke to him once again. "Sir, what are our orders?" Kirlocca thought about the question for a second before he responded. He looked into Holden's dark hazel eyes before he even uttered a word. "Take off and head to an unknown port. From there, I will decide what is the best move."

With that, the large black and red Venator-class Star Destroyer lifted off the ground and was soon in hyperspace.

The Bloody Dragon came out of Hyperspace above the planet, with its minimal droid crew moving about, getting the ship ready to have a landing party go to the surface. Kirlocca stood in the bridge, watching the surface and thinking about his son, Holden who was now sleeping in his quarters. The droid chief came up to him. "Sir, we have just placed a flyer on the Holonet stating the a crew is now needed for a ship that is touring the outer rim. It was posted in such a way that you will only draw the attention of crew that will be loyal to you, but like I said before sir...pirates follow that code closely."

Kirlocca just ignored the droid. The whole reason he was looking for new crew was so he could replace the droids. Kirlocca slowly made his way to the hanger bay to where a shuttle was waiting to take him down to the surface.

After a few minutes, Kirlocca was aboard his shuttle and on his way down to the surface.

Smith landed the Sin's Insight in a public hangar and went to a local cantina. He wasn't interested in booze or women; he was looking for something to do.

Ever since he monopolized his father's company he had nothing to do, the business was self-sustaining now. It had been hard to change it from a bankrupt bureaucracy to a complex, lucrative network. The company was spread out across the galaxy making a bureaucracy useless and inefficient; the network of the smartest scientists, mechanics, and businesspersons had rendered the old hierarchy defunct. The new leaders had been instructed to use staticians and simulations to manage its stocks, and to let the scientists work with the mechanics in an environment almost free of instruction and restrictions.

He entered the cantina and went to the holonet to look at the job offers; he wanted something to do, nothing behind a desk, something hands on and in which he could get some adrenaline.

"The Bloody Dragon, sounds like a humbled and defeated Dragon, and thus smarter and deadlier from the scars it had received. I hope the captain is the same way."

He then sent a message to the ship saying who he was, where he was staying; the Journeyman's Inn, and that he was interested in joining its crew.

Kirlocca let out a soft breath as he walked down the landing ramp. Life was taking him down a path that he was not sure he should travel, yet it all seemed so surreal to him at the moment. The air let him know that the city was always going to be busy, but the lack of movement told him that no one cared enough to make the guest feel at home. A side of life I'm going to have to get use to I guess.

"Sir, I do not trust our shuttle at this site." Kirlocca turned with an annoyed look on his face at the droid. "Then you can stay here with your company and watch it for me." Kirlocca turned on his heels and left, not giving to droid a chance to complain. Kirlocca quickly made his way into a bar that seemed to be full of energy. He took only a second to take in his surroundings, for he feared that if he stood for too long, he might be marked as something or someone that he didn't want at the moment.

The wookiee made his way to the bar table and looked at the bartender. Kirlocca ordered some Accarrgm and then sat in the conner and watched for potential crew.

The day was coming to an end, the sunset highlighting the city as his starfighter approached the city. Los had been wandering, and now he decided to become even more lost.

The hangar was empty with everyone at casinos or bars. As he walked down mainstreet to the latter place the surrounding structures dorfed him.

Los sat down next to a wookiee at the and ordered a drink. He just needed to relax and find a ship going to the outer rim.

Sometimes quiet drinks can turn into a fun experience. Today just happened to be one of those days for the patrons of the Glow Worm. Kiara sat on her stool drinking her beer when all hell broke loose. A...thing, bumped into her, causing her to spill the amber colored drink all down the front of her shirt. She quickly spun around, catching the person she could now identify as a Quarren by the arm. They both reached for their blasters, but Kiara's honed reflexs were just too quick for him.

Two shots were fired, and as the smoke cleared it was easy to see who shot first. Kiara slowly holstered her blaster as two men who had been standing at the door came over and drug the carcass off and threw it into the streets of Nar Shaddaa. The band started playing again and the other occupants returned to their drinks. She motioned towards the bartender with her hand, speaking softly. "Ummm...I could use another one over here please."

((I'm going to assume that we are in the same bar, mainly because I forgot to post a name to the bar I was in.))

Kirlocca's eyes perked up a bit when he saw slight movement from the main bar area. Although the wookiee didn't see what exactly went down, he saw a female quickly draw out her weapon, bringing down a Quarren male. The thing was all over as soon as it started. She would be a good addition to the crew, and with reflexes like that, I won't have to worry too much about Holden.

Kirlocca stood up and began to walk over to the main bar where she was sitting. On his way, someone tried to tell him that aliens were only allowed over there to order a drink, and Kirlocca clearly had his Accarrgm still in hand. Kirlocca just pushed past the man and sat down next to her.

"You're pretty quick with a blaster...people must hire you a lot with your skills."

Kiara was taking another sip of her beer when a huge ball of fur sat down next to her. The wookiee turned to her and began speaking.

"Actually," she replied, "I'm in between jobs right now. I almost got killed by my boss on my last job for shooting his first mate for...some unspeakable things," she said smiling.

Kirlocca wasn't sure what his reaction should be. If she had a good reason for shooting a first mate, would she be acceptable to fly under his leadership. But then again, it wasn't like he should hold ties to the Jedi order anymore. Out here there were different rules. Kirlocca decided to push the subject on her.

"Am I to assume that when you say in between jobs, you mean you're looking for you next place of employment, or do you literally mean you're on your way to your next place of employment?"

Kirlocca took another drink of his Accarrgm before he turned his face towards her for her answer.

Kirlocca looked off as if his answer might lay with something else. He allowed himself to stare off for a few seconds before he turned back towards her.

"I mean, I could use a crew."

Kirlocca lowered his head to look at his drink before he continued on.

"But being apart of my crew is a burden that some may not want."

Kirlocca looked directly at her this time.

"You'll get paid well, you can have no doubt about that, but being apart of my crew requires rules to be broken and a very sealed allegiance to me that most other captains would not require."

Kirlocca knew that he pushed a lot of hard information for her to take at once, but he felt it was necessary for Holden's protection that he get the very best crew.

Kirlocca smiled at her and slightly turned his head away, but kept his eyes on her.

"You can start now, but pay won't come until after you start."

Kirlocca took another sip and stared off at a group of humans that seemed displeased that he was at the bar, let alone, talking to a woman, from human standards was beautiful.

Kirlocca wasn't sure whether to look at her or the group of males passing by. He decided to place his focus on the later.

"Coruscant. I have a contact there that is in need of my services. He doesn't pay well either, but its a start to get us into bigger things."

Kirlocca's eyes moved off her and onto the men who now stood behind them.

"You are going to have to be prepared to use a blaster, but until then, I think that I should leave and meet you at docking bay 49. As much as I would love to show you what you're about to work with, I think discretion is key for now."

Kirlocca stood up and made a very slight bow to her and then turned and walked passed the men, very forcefully, but with the intention of letting them know that he was not in a mood to be trifled with.

((Sorry i'm late. I never got any word on when you guys were starting.))

A soft breeze blew into the Glow Worm Cantina as the metallic door hissed with Rose Vao's entrance. Many of the patrons gazes fell upon the Rutian Twilek as she entered, her eyes hidden under a crimson vail and the rather large sword upon her back drawing most of the attention at first. But her trust HK units soon took over what attention remained ungrasped as the matte black and chromed figuares stepped into the darkened room carring E-11 Blaster rifles.

She had been wandering the galaxy for a few months now, the memories of her past distant, yet at the same time, still haunting the young Twilek. Bumping into a rather large wookie(WJ) as she made her way to the bar, her gaze merely shifted upward as she moved past him, never speaking a word. She may have came off rude, but after what recently happened, she could have cared less. Walking up the bar, Revan and Sauron close in step, Rose spoke up to the bartender.

"One round of Corellian Whiskey on the rocks." Rose spoke in a harsh tone, the bartender looking at the Twilek rather funny. Still he brought her the drink she ordered, taking the credstick she laid upon the bar. He had never seen a Twilek of this caliber, but he stayed silent as to not cause any unwanted trouble. After all, she appeared to be a wanderer, so maybe after she finished, she would just wander her way on out of there.

And she would, once she found work.

  • 2 weeks later...

Kirlocca wasn't sure if being bumped into was a sign of the bar becoming crowded, or rudeness towards him, but it gave the the small group of humans enough time to get in front of him and challenge him. The smallest one of the group stepped forward to address him.

"I don't think you understand the rules around here, so allow for me to make them clear for you."

Kirlocca went to respond to him, but never got the chance. A tingle ran down his spine, but the warning came too late. A bottle was smashed over his head, drenching the wookiee in some alcoholic drink. The four remaining men moved towards him to make their own swings, but this time, Kirlocca was ready for them. Kirlocca reached behind and grabbed the table behind him, throwing it at the large group. As the five men tried to recover, Kirlocca pulled out both of the modified blasters, but to his surprise, a tingle ran down his spine again, but the warning was not coming from the original group of men that attacked him.

Kirlocca turned on his heels and quickly fired off a shot into a man chest, who was pulling out his own blaster to fire. Within seconds, Kirlocca had created a situation that he was sure he wanted...a bar fight.

Noise erupted from behind Rose as she sip on her drink, the sudden disengagement of the safeties on Revan and Sauron's E-11 Blaster Rifles signaling trouble ahead. Rose had been in a few bar fights herself, but this one was not one she wished to indulge in. A stranger in unknown territory must always tred lightly. Taking another sip of her drink, she tried to stay out of the way and let her two droids handle any necessary duties. But life always had a way of turning against one.

"Mother....." was all Rose was able to word as an unexpected patron crashed into her and spilt her drink down her robes. Her temper flared as she turned her mechanical eye toward the on-going fight. She had hoped to not be dragged into such a display of idiocity, but today was not such a day. Placing her hands upon Revan and Sauron's metallic chest, she stepped forward into the crowd alone, the two droids stand aside obediantly. Placing her palm upon the floor, and with a quick pivet, her part in the action had begun. As a patron went to react to Rose's intrusion, a quick cartwheel flip positioned both her feet in the right direction and quickly ending his attack. But a friend had saw and she too came at Rose. But Rose was ready for her as well, coming out of the cartwheel and going into a rather graceful roundhouse kick and using the momentum of her longer than average legs. Flying to a rough spin, the young patron met with a hard landing spot upon the floor. And in truth, Rose found herself actually having a bit of fun. Or was, at least until she found her admist blade happy thieves.

Completely encircled by five men, three carrying vibroblades and two finding their blasters pretty quickly. Red beams of light began to litter the air around her, giving her very little time to react as she grabbed one of the assailants and used his form for cover. Rushing forward while still using his body as a meatshield, Rose grew close enough to the first shooter to reveal the Blade of Vao, the broadblade cleaving the man from shoulder to abdomen. But Rose still had to think quick on her feet as three still remained including another blaster. Diving behind a turned over table, Rose took a quick breather as she survey her surroundings, taking in all she was able to process in such a limited time. Luckly she was a force sensitive, which gave her a slight advantage. Able to predict her opponents actions a few milliseconds before it actually happens is a great gift indeed. Placing her head on the table's top edge, she lept forward for a final charge.

Using the metallic surface of the Blade of Vao, keeping it's broadblade angled to deflect some of the bolts away, she charged forward. Mixing her natural agility and speed with her metallic protector, she came through rather fairly save a few grazed burns as she drove her broadblade through the shooter's heart. But with wounds, she began to slow. And as she drew her blade from his limp body, she was overtaken. Her body hit the floor hard as the biggest brute of the five pinned her to the ground. Revan and Sauron saw this, stepping forward and ready to attack when they noticed Rose's glare toward them. No, she would finish what she started, and without their help. Such was one of Rose's many ways. Turning her gaze back toward the large gentleman above her, she left him with nothing but a smile upon her face as a gust of wind blew up her vail and revealed her most hidden secret...... her eye of judgement.

The man stared in disbelief at the cyborg implant her now viewed into, it's red glow unatural. And with a blink of her eye, it was the last thing her saw. For when she opened her eye, a red solid laser beam imploded his head and sent the remaining assailant running. Pushing the limp headless body from atop her, she stood after gathering her trusty broadblade and looked into the now dwindling bar fight. Wiping the blood and cooked brain from upon her face, she wondered who was next.

As quickly as it all sparked up, the fight was dying down. Kirlocca didn't even have to fire a shot. Placing his blasters away, he looked around at the carnage that he helped ensue. On one hand, most of the people still standing were ones that looked like they could take on almost any fight that came their way. On the other hand, none of them really looked trust worthy. I guess there's no point in fighting it, this is a different life. I'm going to have to find a way around my moral conscious if I'm to survive now.

Kirlocca walked up to the bar again, not sure of how to get everyone to sign up to be apart of his crew, he asked the bar tender. "Most of these people look like they could sue some money...how would I get them to join a crew?" Kirlocca did his best to keep his tone down, but he was sure that the young Twi'lek that had bumped into him earlier had heard him.

None came, none wished to fight, once they viewed upon the metallic eye that held a certain destruction about it for those who it's sight was set upon. Disappointed, Rose let the viel fall back upon her face as she rejoined her two accompanying HK units over by the bar. Taking another shot from the bottle she had ordered, she turned back once more in time to view her victim's friends carry him off into the night. Remorse came over her for just a moment before she turned back to the bar for another drink.

Rose wasn't a cold blooded killer, but after the life she had, she did what she had to do in order to survive. Like many of the beings in the galaxy, she had a chaotic side, a darkside. But like all beings, she also possessed a lightside as well, and even Rose was not without remorse or sorrow. She didn't want to kill, but in a kill or be killed life, she had not other choice. Indeed, it was not a choice for her.

A few moments after returning to the bar and finishing half her bottle, Rose noticed a wookie approach the bar. It was a strange thing for a wookie to be in such a place, most notiably without a Master within close proximity. But she recognized him from before, the being she bumped into upon her entrance. She could help but have her interest grow, and without noticing it, had eavesdropped on his coversation with the bartender.

The alcohol overtaking her typical withdrawel from social activities, she approached. Not that she was drunk, despite the the strong smell of Correlian whiskey on her breath. But she wasn't feeling any pain either at the moment. As she sat right next to the tall wookie(WJ), she spoke as her veil covered face met his gaze.

"So your in need of a crew, eh? How much are we talking about here?"

Kirlocca brought his gaze around to hers. He didn't interject an answer right away, but it was more to give him time to sum up a possible crew member rather then being mean or rude.

"I'm not even sure. Maybe a heist here, a paid job there. Whatever I can find that keeps my ship afloat."

Kirlocca found nothing that would make him weary of her, but then again, he wasn't really using the forcing to search her, nor would he.

"The only payment I can really offer up front is the worth of one hundred and ninety crew droids, which with the blackmarket stat that it's in now, might be worth more then you think."

Halál descended through the smog that enveloped the planet, his shuttle cutting through the thick gases of unknown, and probably lethal substances. He scouted around the sky, searching for a quiet place to land. The Refugee Sector was his first stop, and he would spend some time there to begin his tasks. He landed when he found a somewhat remote hanger, a perfect place to hide his ship. An old imperial shuttle was one of the last things Halál wanted people to see, as those days rung through their hearts, the inhabitants that had to hide or be enslaved.

After docking the ship, he checked his gear, making sure that all was with him, and that he could pass inconspicuously through the crowds. He removed his wieldy weapons, namely his vibrosword, as it would attract too much attention. His wookiee knife would suit him just fine. Leaving the hanger, he slipped silently into the crowd, so that he could learn about his surroundings. Like a shadow, he melded into the people, silent and paying attention to all around him.

Time had passed, and Halál had begun to understand the events on Nar Shaddaa. There were terrible crime lords that ruled over the denizens, forcing them to pay ”˜protection money' at exorbitant prices, virtually controlling their lives. There was no way out for these inhabitants, as finances were extremely tight, having barely enough to eat and sleep. As it began to rain, Halál pulled his cloak hood over his head, covering most of his face. Climbing onto a low building, he crouched in the growing darkness, observing the crowd below.

At one point in his surveillance, he saw two men push through the crowd, grabbing a man and a woman attempting to flee. They shoved their victims into a nearby alley, and Halál followed them, careful not to make a sound. He heard them speaking in harsh tones,

”œWhere is the money you owe us?”
