  1. Erdric had know about the Black Sun for a while, and knew what they claimed to be about. But credits were credits, and thats what he needed most right now. The fat man before him was curt, and got right to the point of their meeting. Erdirc was a little anxious about going after a Galactic Senator, his usual targets were lowlifes that owed a debt, or had taken something from an important person, but never someone in such a high position. To take out a senator would truly be a test of his skills, one of which Erdric looked forward to excelling at. “Now sign this contract and be on your way. Any questions” the man said, as he held out a small stack of papers. Erdric hadn't said a word so far, but it seemed as though there was no need to, the man knew who he was, and what he did to get paid. Contracts were a normal thing in his line of business, but something felt off about the paperwork he was handed. Erdric skimmed through the contract trying to look for any wording that seemed disagreeable, but he wasn't a lawyer, and was being pressured by the man to hurry up and leave. So he quickly scribbled his name on the line, and handed back to the man. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ill be back shortly to claim the reward" Erdric said as calmly as he could. His nerves were wrecked from the intensity of the environment, the black sun was not an organization to get on the bad side of, and he had not intentions of doing so at this point in time. Erdric made his way back to his ship, making sure to keep an eye over his shoulder, so he wasnt followed. He took a few back alleys and doubled back a few times just to be positive. The Galactic Chaos' ramp lowered down to the ground as he approached, Vailiance had been ready to receive him, and fired up the ship to head towards Coruscant. The next few days were going to be quite interesting he thought.
  2. The Galactic Chaos quietly slipped through the atmosphere, as the sun began to raise on the planet. Erdric looked out of the cockpit, down onto the beautiful green islands that were scattered across the ocean. He was looking for the office of the black sun, as he had received word that there was a decent bounty available. After spending a few hours searching, Erdric set his ship down at an approved landing pad, and headed into the office building to meet with is contact.
  3. the Galactic Chaos floated around the space not far from Courscant, it had been a while since Erdric had taken a bounty, he was stil living rather well off the previous one that they had completed, but it was about time he had taken on another mission. "What we have on the Holonet?" He asked his friend Vailiance. It was silent for a little before he could hear a happy shout from around the way. "There is an open bounty on any CoreSec agent brought in, looks like 10,000 credits a head." "Perfect" Erdric shouted back, smiling to him self, he headed out into deeper space in an attempt to track down some CoreSec agents.

    Naboo

The Galactic Chaos made good time from Courscant, though it was not much of a flight between the two planets. Erdrics ship landed with a soft thud, all the creaks and pops were no longer present since the ship had been refurbished on Bespin. "I'm good to go. I'll see about getting some information on this Jarel person." Erdric said as he grabbed his E-11 blaster, and threw it over his back. He didnt want to be walking around with sniper rifle on him, people might send word to his target that there was a bounty hunter rolling around their town. The hatch opened, and Erdric made his way to the small cantina that was located on the edge of the town. Erdric had barely made it through the doors of the cantina when he heard someone shout "Jarel". Erdric stopped dead in his tracks. He worried that he stood out too much as a bounty hunter, and that someone had told Jarel to run. Erdric pushed open the door and peaked in. There wasnt any one pulling out blasters, or running for the door, so Erdric relaxed a little more. He walked in and sat at the bar. Erdric ordered a local beverage and sat back taking a long look around the place. Erdric made it a point to not stare at anyone or anything inparticular, but rather gather information from all over the place. He happened to to see a group of males playing some sort of card game at a small table. They were a roudy bunch, seeming like they were well into their fifth drink and rather drunk. Erdric figured that the shout from before had come from this group, so he kept a close eye on the group. It wasnt long before he identified his target, his name was used a lot in the 20 minutes that Erdric had been there. He felt that it was time to to head back to his ship and set up for the first shot of a lifetime. Erdric swollowed what was left of his drink and headed back to his ship. "Hes at the bar, Im getting my rifle and going to set up in a better location to take a shot" Erdric said to Vailiance as he grabbed the D-15. Erdric made his way to a small hill that was out of the way, yet still had a clear shot of the doors to the cantina, he had no idea how long it would take for Jarel to finally make his way out of the bar. I wasnt too late, though on this planet time was hard to tell, so it might take a while for his target to leave the bar. Erdric layed down on the hill, and set up his rifle on the tri-pod that was attached to it. He scoped in on the doors of the cantina and waited. The moons started drifting across the sky, and it started to get rather late. Erdric was starting to get sleepy, his eyes opening and closing slower with each blink. What ever he had drank from the tavern was starting to hit him, the alcohol in the beverage was causing him to get more and more tired. His eyes closed on him longer than he wanted, and by the time they opened again, a group of people were walking out of the tavern. They were walking in a tight group, making it very difficult for Erdric to desipher if his target was in the group. They walked down the road a little more, and some started to split off from the group, heading to their respective homes. One of the members of the group stopped, seeming to have been going in the wrong direction. He turned around and Erdric instantly recognized him as his target. Jarel was walking toward Erdrics location, stumbling from side to side. Erdric rose his crosshairs and zoomed in on the cowardly drunk that was his bounty. With each stumble, Erdric had to readjust his aim. Jarel stopped for a moment to evacuate his stomach, Erdric knew this was his chance. Erdric slowly pulled the trigger. BZZZT The blue blaster bolt moved at lightning speed towards its destination. A puff of debry spewed from a hole in the wall that was seated about 5 inches above Jarels head. DAMNIT Erdric shouted in his head as he attempted to reaquire his target. Luckily, Jarel was too drunk to realized what had just happened. He was still somewhat crouched over on the side of the wall, looking at the hole that was created. BZZT The second shot was fired, and it landed on its mark. The blue blaster bolt sizzled through Jarels head, ending the poor exisitance of a man within a blink of an eye. Finaly Erdric thought, he quickly packed up his rifle, and ran down to grab the lifeless body. Vailiance was already on his way down to assist, he had been waiting and watching as well. "you got him, and it only took two shots" Vailiance shouted in mockery. "Shut up and grab him" Erdric replied in annoyance. The loaded up the body on the ship, and took off. No one in the town had a single clue as to what had just happened.
  5. "I know that guy!" Vailiance said as he thumbed through the bounty listings. "He took his coward ass back to naboo right before this bounty was posted" Erdric smiled, that was a good sign, he knew now where his first target was going to be taken, and since he was not a high profile individual Erdric knew it would be an easy take, and that the bounty on his head would more than cover the costs of his loan, and would feed him and his friend for a little. "Good, lets head to Naboo, and see if we can find him." Erdric said as he sat down and plotted the course for Naboo. The Galactic Chaos's hyperdrive spun into action, and they shot off.
  6. A freshly painted Star Skiff crossed the stary abyss at light speed, crossing a vast distance in a matter of seconds, yet it would still take some hours to reach its final destination
  7. Erdric gave a curt nod to the man before him. He still didnt have a name or anything of the sort, wasnt even sure what all just happened. He understood that he was offered a job tracking down a target, and that it was obviously was an important target for such a high bounty. What confused Erdirc was ow could this man have so much trust in a complete stragner, granted he had proved that he was a man of power and wealth, and that there was assuredly more than one blaster pointed at him at that moment. "Very well, I will head that way." Erdric stood up and bowed to the stranger. "Thank you for your hospitality sir" He rose from the bow and began to make his way back to his ship. On his way out he snagged a few more goodies and slipped them in his pockets. He was sure that he was seen doing it, but didnt think anyone would mind. He was escorted by some guards back to his ship, which was a good thing because he would have gotten lost had they not been there. The bay doors opened and before him sat the Galactic Chaos. Yet it had deffently been changed. A fresh coat of black paint had been applied to his ship. Accented by a red stripes running up the forward arms of the ship. It had seemed that all the engines had been fixed, and all the systems seemd to have been replaced. It was deffently not the same ship that he had almost crashed. Erdric climbed into the cockpit of his ship, and began starting it up. Everything about the ship worked far better than ever before, systems turned on faster, engines warmed up quicker, and the navigation system retirved a more precise location. The galactic chaos began lifting off the pad, and pointed toward the stars. With in a few seconds, the Galactic Chaos had made its way back into space.
  8. "fifty million credits" The bluntness of such a statement almost knocked Erdric on his ass. "Sound pretty damn good to me" Erdric was excited yet nervous. The biggest target he had ever taken down was a scumbag on Nal Hutta that was in debt to the hut family that ran the planet. " I might need some assisstance with a target that big, deffenetly going to need a better firepower." With such a blunt statement from the man infront of him, he figured it would not be beyond his capability to retrieve better equipment from this man. "I will be in need of a decent data pad with all the information on the Jedi that you want taken down."
  9. Erdric stood amazed, he had full intentions of repairing the ship himself, but was very glad that he no longer had to. He watched for a moment as the crew members set to his ship with purpose. After a moment or so, Erdric followed the gentelman into a great dinning hall. It seemed as if this man and his crew had been preparing for a guest long before Erdric had entered the system. He was not phased however, more in awe than anything. Erdric taking caution however, waited for the man to finish dishing up before he he did. He put some burgers on his plate as well, and sat down and began to eat slowly. "So good sir, what type of business are you in?" the man on the other side of the table asked him. ""Well, sir... One might say I am in the business of making money." Erdric let out a nervous chuckle "I dont really have much of a job as it stands. Though I am looking for work." Erdric was a little nervous to let out that he was a young bounty hunter. People in the galaxy had never cared for his type of profession, and he wasnt sure if the man infront of him was one of those people. Erdric had thought it out and decided hed just try to test the waters, and drop subtle hints to his profession "I do spend a lot of my time looking for people though" Erdric had hoped that it was sublte enough, he wasnt too keen on being blunt at this point in time.
  10. "Pilot, if you would be so kind to come out and tell us who you are, we would be happy to repair your ship and make it serviceable. A meal also awaits you." said a voice the engulfed his ship. Erdric's eyes opened, it seemed that he was being met with rare kindness, so far throughout his life not many people had been kind. But an offer of assitance and food was even more of treat than he would have ever expected. When all had settled, Erdric sat up in his cockpit and peered around a little. When he felt relativly safe, he popped the hatch open, and walked down his run way, making sure to take it slowley, as to not make the soldiers think he was a threat. He headed in the direction of a man in dark mandalorian armour. He seemed to look like he was in charge, for he was not activley pointing a gun at Erdric, which made Erdric feel a little more comfortable talking to this man. "Greetings" Erdric said as he gave a slight bow to show respect." I am Erdric Starkos, thank you for allowing me to land here, I dont think I will be too long, just long enough to repair my ship, and ill be on my way. Though I am in need of a place to rest for a little". Erdric was sceptical about a place to sleep for the night, but he figured it wouldnt hurt to ask.
  11. Erdric smiled, someone had responded. Which was a good thing, because he could feel his ship weakening by the second, the last thing he needed was to drop out of the sky at this altitude. ' docking bay 3079Q-585S-W5SSJ-85699S-XOSNSYUW-5241SSS8A4A-B, my what a strange numbering system they have for their docking bays ' he though to him self as he entered the longn string of numbers into his navigation system. The screen flashed at him, indicating that he was not far from that loaction. Erdric was able to catch a glimps of the screen before it started getting fuzzy and eventually shut its self off. ' piece of junk ' he thought, as he piloted his way towards the docking bay. Erdric made his way to the docking station with ease, it was kind of hard to miss it, a giant floating city sort of stood out in the wafting clouds. He was in the middle of his landing procedures, when he had a sudden feeling to grab his E-11 blaster rifle he had scavenged off some dead trooper that had met his untimely end on Nal Hutta. He wasnt sure why his body told him that he was possibly in danger, but he never ignored his gut feelings. As his ship breached the hanger doors, he instantly knew what his body had already told him. Surrounding the landing pad, was roughly one-hundred or so soldiers all pointing rifles at his general direction. But what made his more nervous was the large missles pointed at his ship. ' its just a procation Starkos, they're just trying to protect themselves ' he thought to himself as he tried to make himself smaller inside his cockpit. With a hiss and a sputter the Galactic Chaos had touched down and the engines shut off. There were a few pops and bangs that made Erdric think that he was about to die, he did not know if it was his ship that was about to breakdown or if it was the 100+ soldiers firing apon him. He closed his eyes and waited a moment for it to quiet down, and too see what sort of reaction the soldiers would take ------edited for story flow sake ----------
  12. *beep*beep*beep* The Galactic Chaos raced through the cloudy horizon of the brown gas giant, trailed by a pillar of smoke. "CRAP!!!" shouted Erdric as he struggled to regain control of his run down star skiff. ' this is where I die I guess ' he thought to himself as the redish brown clouds surrounded his ship. He had not seen the planet on his navigation system when he plotted his course, and it was only a gut feeling to pull out of hyperspace when he did. Had he ignored that feeling, he would have been buried in the matalic core of this planet and his short meager existance would have come to a quick halt. He knew all to well not to ignore his gut feelings, so far they have kept him alive and kicking. His ship had started to slow down from the drag of dense atmosphere, causing things to heat and start to melt off. ' Well there goes what little paint I had left ' he thought as he inched his way back into control of the galactic chaos. Erdric was able to nudge the ship into a better direction than stright down. Leveling off a little at a time. It was a few minutes before he had full control of his ship. When Erdric felt that he was no longer about to die in a firey mess, he set the auto pilot and and started to run some simple diagnostics on the ship. It didnt take long before a long list of issues was displayed on the monitor infront of him, it was pretty obvious that the ship was in bad shape. There was a thick black cloud of smoke pouring out of the side of his ship. The monitor displayed a few new entries to the list of things wrong with the galactic chaos. Including the comm-link antenna being fried, the jamming system malfuntioning, and the hyperdrive system overheated and was currently out of order. "I should have bought a droid to navigate this heap" he said quietly to himself as he attempted to make a distress call on what was left of the comm-link of the ship. "Any station, any staion this is Galactic Chaos. Requesting emergency docking at any location." Erdric continued to chug along hoping to get a responce from anyone before his cockpit decided it didnt want to be apart of the ship anymore.
  13. A small flash raced across the stary abyss, headed towards a brown gas giant known as Bespin.
