HK-52's Character Sheet

Identity [!ident]

Real Name: Hunter-Killer Assassin Droid Model no.:52

A.K.A: HK-52

Homeworld: Coruscant Industrial sector

Species: Droid

Physical Description [!dscrp]

Age: 2 years or so

Height: 2 meters

Weight: 317.51kg

Hair: N/A

Sensor Color: Blue

Plating Color: Onyx

Gender Programming: His Programming is of masculine nature.

Equipment [!equip]

Clothing or Armor: His entire body is made of a phrik/durasteel mesh alloy. The phrik does not dominate the armor itself, but it helps block a lightsabre blow or two to make his assassination attempts more effective. The armor is more a steel dominated alloy than phrik due to the large ambitions of the mechanic, but the limited budget. It is also heavy. The droid has no apparent problem in moving due to his rather expert craftsmanship (and about 25 different prototypes), but he is rather heavy.

Weapon: Integrated Modular weapon mounts (which have small blasters installed (they have stun and kill settings), Blaster Rifle, and Droid Assassin's Blaster Rifle.

Common Inventory: The droid does have a built in comm, but in a way has no real need for material possessions aside from artillery. He did carry about 2k credits though to help buy the things he would need for his "job".

Faction Information [!factn]

Non-Force User

Alignment: His will is bent to the will of his master only int he ways of morality. He kills who he kills for no reason other than the succession of his programming. He does understand however that "meatbags", while useful, are only as useful as he allows them to be.

Current Faction Affiliation: TBA

Current Faction Rank: N/A

History: [!hstry]

Known Skills:

Protocol Droid Capabilities: As an HK droid his primary cover is that of a protocol droid. So, his translation capabilities are top notch and he performs very well in high societal situations.

Assassination Protocol: His primary function however, is and will always be assassination. As such, he is capable of handling most blaster weapons. He has mounts built in for special blaster like devices that have been installed. The current blasters he has installed in them are really only used for Stunning his opponents.

HK ancestry: being part of the line of HK robots makes him part of something rather old. His behaviors might be new (however similar), but the idea of an HK droid is a memorable one. Due to HK-47's havoc on Mustafar, and his trials and tribulations with Revan and the Jedi Exile years ago.

Assembly Line: The Manufacturer of this robot sees the fragility in letting his creation wander out into the world, so as a precaution he set a a chip in HK-52 that notifies him of its destruction hence ushering in the next HK-52 to take its place.

Background: ((I am probably going to make a few things up from canon, but I found nothing of HK-47's death on record so I am pretty much spit balling here - if I can't, let me know))

Its mysterious how the world seemingly forgot HK-47. It wasn't so much as a memory loss though, but the fact that HK-47 hazed from existence in the Galaxy so very long ago. After his terror of robots upon the planet Mustafar was quelled by rebellious spacers, the droid just faded away, but he wasn't as "gone" as people suspected he was.

He laughed at the spacers and even taunted them for his prolonged existence, giving them a hologram of his self to joke at their feeble accomplishment, but again his time in the galaxy seemed to have stopped. ((that is where the wookiepedia info stops)).

However, near the present, a time oh so familiar to many of us today, a scavenger roamed the planetary wastes of Mustafar. His search was for the parts of robots and things that had existed there long ago before the time of Anakin. His search was futile however, because due to the age of the parts he wanted, they eventually wasted away upon the harsh Mustafarian environment. He was ignorant though and continued aimlessly following an empty road.

It was during this rather aimless and naive quest though, that he came upon something extremely old, but still glaring at him from beneath the dirt. He thought the heat of Mustafar was getting to him, but once the scavenger dug further he realized there was something staring at him from the ground. HK-47's broken chasis was found under the dirt, but it had been so long his foul war against the organics had long been forgotten.

Being an antique, he was very expensive when it came to his auction and fetched the scavenger a pretty penny, but the man that bought the demonic relic had less than civil things in mind for his new toy. He was an engineer, a droid engineer, that dabbled in some very illegal experiments, but never before had he seen a more beautiful relic of the past as HK-47.

The engineer didn't quite understand the origins of the remains, but it wasn't long before he sought to duplicate the droid's design and functions. He even tried to replicate and improve a few of what seemed to be the more pressing defunct qualities of the old model. He was dissatisfied for at least a total of 25 repetitious failures, but after his hard work he marveled at the creation before him. Never before had he been so proud of his work than when it talked and walked in front of him.

The scientist's motivations were unclear at the time, but the old man seemed to have his fair share of robotics adorning his body. It was the old man's "wish" that HK-52 go off into the world and do "good", but the undercurrents of his request suggested something deeper...

Recent History: Funded by Smash, the diabolical inventor continued to pump out more and more droids to do the beck and call of the Black Sun in their attempts at diverting national attention and pin destructive responsibility upon the shoulders of the Jedi in efforts to get them out of their hiding place.

The legion of droids' efforts on Kashyyyk were short lived however when their broadcast was over and they were no longer needed. This of course drew a stagnation of duty that their master would not allow and their mentally unstable master has since let them loose upon the world.
