Homeworld/Species: Various. From all walks of life spawn those that wish to provide peace and harmony to the galaxy.

 

Physical Description

 

As mercurial as the sea, each Jedi is born of different stock than the other. For each of the Jedi are brought together to better themselves and better the galaxy. Their ambitions, their appearances, and their ages differ and change. Yet each of them is just as instrumental to the future of the order as the last.

 

Equipment

 

Clothing or Armor: Padawans wear simple white robes and their hair is traditionally done in a small ponytail. Knights are traditionally robed in browns and whites. And Masters are typically robed in different shades of Brown. As one ascends in rank, their robes and outfits may change with their whims. But ultimately, every Jedi wears a robe of some kind.

Weapon: Padawans are expressly forbidden to use anything beyond a training saber until deemed worthy by their master. Knights and Masters are equipped with one double bladed or one/two single bladed lightsabers.

Common Inventory: Jedi often carry datapads, or small comm devices as a standard. However, they can also carry small holocrons, knick knacks, crystals, lightsaber parts, credits, or anything else that a standard galactic citizen may have.

History:

 

The Jedi Order, in some form or another, has been around for time immemorial. Even in times of great darkness, some Jedi have lingered to provide protection and guidance to those that needed it. When called to intercept Sith threats, they answer the call of conflict and adversity. Jedi have seen a veritable wealth of action and stagnancy in almost equal measure. They have been at the heart of great wars and been on the side of great wars. They can be both politcal and aggressive in nature and stretch to meet the needs of new and varying civilizations. However, one mythos - one philosophy - rings true throught it all =

Clothing or Armor: Akeera, as is customary for Jedi Consulars, wears fine Jedi Robes that indicate some form of scholarly lean. The cloths are a little heavier than usual and consist of warm earthy tones. Browns and whites litter the outfit and are interrupted only with a brief shock of blue that indicates her rank and level of knowledge in the Order. Master Agular, usually deferred to on matters of history and philosophy, has a fierce spirit that is indistinguishable to her guardian brothers and sisters. Unlike usual consulars, her master trained her extensively in the single-blade Soresu lightsaber form. She is adept with a blade as much, if not slightly less, than she is with a book and force powers.

Weapon: A brilliant single azure blade with an ornate wooden inlaid handle. It blooms with a warm familiarity at her touch.

History

 

Trained at the advent of the peace accords, right beside her friend Goruun Kaven, Akeera was a runt that needed shaping. Her family was of minor wealth on Naboo and she was raised a spoiled rich kid with little regard for others that stood beneath her social status. Her parents, although equally as wealthy, were not equally as rude and disrespectful. Seeing their daughter as a terror that would grow to be something of a terrible nuisance in the Nabooian political circuit, they sent her to reform school after reform school, hoping to change her caustic outlook.

 

The efforts were fruitless. Yet, a queer thing happened one day when the mistress of one of her reform schools noted an event where Akeera moved a desk without using her arms. This spawned a different approach. And, instead of sending Akeera to yet another reform school, her parents went through great expense to send her to the Jedi Enclave on Coruscant to be trained there. Jedi possess incredible discipline and would succeed where others had failed. That was their thought, at least.

 

And it worked. After several years of pushing back and forth, the Khel dor Hastrom Quellos trained her to be the perfect lady. Fierce and prideful, yet with renewed respect and kindness for others, Akeera placed her life below those of the people she spurned before. With azure blade in hand, she vowed to protect any and all she could.

Clothing or Armor: Goruun, although a Consular like Akeera, favors more free-flowing and flexible robes. He has a few darker browns in his ensemble and his robes are lighter, which allow for freer movement. In fact, his outer layer is not a full robe. It cuts off about thigh level and reveals his dark-brown trousers and black boots.

Weapon: A verdant green blade with a silver metallic hilt. The light it gives off is soothing.

History

 

Trained at the advent of the peace accords, right beside his friend Akeera Agular, Goruun was a misfit with a lot to prove to himself. Born on Nar Shaddaa as a refugee, Goruun lived as a vagrant, a thief, a drifter, and a smuggler to get enough money for food and clothes. He tried to help his mother, who was near death when she gave birth, but she died to a terrible disease when he was very young. They couldn’t afford medical aid and he was forced to watch as she wasted away.

 

Vowing never to let others die of the disease, Goruun did investigations when he was able and tried to stow enough money away to come up with a cure. Eventually, his smuggling days led him into a bit of trouble with the Jedi Order. Yet, instead of scolding the fellow, because it became clear that his intentions were pure, Hastrom vowed to look after him and teach him a better way to heal and protect those that he loved.

 

From then on, Goruun fought to maintain that any disease could be cracked, any plague could be eradicated, and any darkness could be purified. All you had to do was take a chance.

While the prosthetic teeth are not readily identifiable, the lower jaw appears vaguely…. off, due to its complete lack of facial hair, stubble, and the perceptible seam between his natural skin and the synthflesh.

Clothing or Armor:  Master Hassan wears coarse Jedi robes of light-brown fabric, cut of a cloth that is a little bit lighter than standard. Also noteworthy is that the robes are slightly shorter than standard--they are cut just shy of the wrists to prevent catching on the hilt of a lightsaber or any physical obstructions, and their delicate fabric renders it significantly easier to simply tear them away if snags on the environment.

History

 

Jedi Norm Hassan discovered his Force sensitivity as a teenager and joined the Jedi Order during the stewardship of Blckclone. These were exciting times for the Jedi Order, and he was shipped from station to facility: Ossus, Hoth, Manaan, and then finally Borleias. Despite having a sterling reputation as a disciplined technician with the lightsaber, his ability to command the Force was decidedly substandard, leading some to believe that he was deliberately holding back his own development.

 

This conclusion was not entirely unfounded. Hassan was as efficient and reserved in his use with the Force as he was with his artistry with the blade. Similar to how Makashi relies on efficient, delicate motions from the wrists, Hassan hesitated to use the Force to make the gross alterations that were the hallmark of more famous Jedi in combat. It wasn’t until Hassan was exposed to combat during an attack on the Borleias Dojo that he finally let loose with his talents.

 

Hassan was assigned to escort younglings and non-combat personnel from the Dojo. Naturally, these innocents came under attack from the Sith invaders. Far from helpless, Hassan seized their weapons with telekenesis and beat them into unconsciousness. His one-man rampage was only ended when a Sith Lord nearly bested the Jedi Knight in a clash of lightsabers, cutting through his lower jaw and tongue with a brutal slash. Though grievously wounded, Hassan slew the Sith and refused medical treatment until the transport that carried the younglings finally escaped into hyperspace.

 

Hassan continues to serve the Jedi Order as a lightsaber instructor and teacher to many younglings.
