Background: An orphan since the age of 2, Darex grew up on the streets of Coruscant. At age 7 he was discovered by a Jedi on assignment and was brought to the temple on Naboo. He was approved to be trained because he had no family ties. He was trained by Skye Organa. His first apprentice, Shy-Ree, turned to the Dark Side under Trowa Barton's influence. Barton became something of a rival for Darex.

Darex trained hopefuls on several Jedi bases, then took another apprentice, Ulos Rolan. During this time, he met up with Shy-Ree again, who implored him for help since she was pregnant with her twins, Rose and Rath. Darex did all he could for her, then she left. Darex completed Ulos' training, and for the young man's trials, took on the form of a Sith Lord. Ulos faced the mirror, and was tempted by the dark side. Eventually, however, Ulos conquered his fears, and Darex revealed the trick and knighted Ulos. This boosted Darex's self-confidence that had taken a large hit when Shy turned.

He trained more hopefuls, and made new friends. His friends include Skye, Ish, Camsie, Armiena, and Darla, although he is on friendly terms with much of the order. He took on a third apprentice, Seraphim, during this time. Darex then (unfortunately) participated in the Jedi assault on the Empire/Sith, as a member of Operation Phalanx. He was part of the attack on Kamino, and confronted Dagon, Kakuto Ryu, Zadkiel, and Darth Shadowlord. He dueled Zad, and managed to trick the Sith into thinking he was dead, then escaping the planet.

He knighted Seraphim after this. He also had the honor of administering Nivana's trials. Both of the trials were with the help of his good friend Darla. Darex and Darla traveled together for a long while, first visiting their mutual friend Skye, then heading to take Darex's master trials. He made a new lightsaber during his trials, and refocused in the Force as he was granted the rank of Master.

Immediately after this, Darex and Darla traveled to Roon to rescue Nivana from Trowa Barton's clutches. Darex once more faced his old rival, negotiated safe passage through the underground labryinth full of Barton's spider monsters, and was reunited with both Darla and Nivana. He also got to see Shy-Ree and her twins, and say his final goodbyes to his first padawan. They parted reconciled, with Darex at peace that she had chosen her path.

Darex then took some time away from the hustle, bustle, and war pervading the galaxy. He spent a year in self-imposed exile on the Eternal Vigilance. He used this time to study and improve his knowledge of the Force. He also attended the wedding of his good friend Armiena during this time, and saved the EV and the planet of Manaan from mysterious Faust-placed satellites that would've turned the planet into a solid chunk of ice.

Returning to the galaxy, Darex found it at war with the Arach'tar. However, he had felt the Force calling him in a different direction, and so after being reunited with Skye, Darla, and Seraphim, he returned to Gala and took on a new apprentice, Aerec Blackwood. The war ended not long after Aerec became his padawan, giving them time to work together and get to know each other. However, on a mission to Mon Calamari to get lightsaber crystals, Aerec was captured by Faust and turned to the dark side. Darex worked tirelessly to find his padawan, as well as his old friend Darla, who had been with them on Mon Calamari and had been taken to Kamino. Finally, Darex hired a bounty hunter, ShadowFett, to help him track Faust. It turned out that the bounty hunter was needless, however, as Faust contacted Darex, inviting him to come to the Sith Temple on Coruscant and see Aerec's transformation to Darth Riftor for himself. Determined to let Aerec choose his own path but also to make him realize the consequences of his choices, Darex took Faust up on the offer. Both masters of the Force laid out their propositions, and in the end, Aerec chose to return with Darex and complete his training as a Jedi. No sooner had that decision been reached when all three of them were arrested for violation of the current peace treaty between the Empire and the New Republic. They were brought before Emperor Black, and there, Darex witnessed the Emperor's murder of Faust. Aerec and Darex were released soon after that, and after rescuing Darla from Kamino, returned to training. They traveled to a restored Ilum to gather crystals for Aerec's lightsaber. It was there that Darex realized the power of his attraction for Darla, and her's for him, and they decided to pursue a romantic relationship.

Upon leaving Ilum, Darex learned that the New Republic base on Gala was being attacked by the Sith, and received a call from the Grandmaster, summoning all Jedi back to fight. Realizing he couldn't ignore this call, the three of them headed to Gala. There, Aerec and Darex fought Jidai Geki. It was one of the hardest fights Darex had ever fought, and in the end, Geki's nanites won the day. Darex was forced to watch as Geki mutilated his apprentice, then forced him to do the same, driving a stake into Aerec's back and paralyzing him. Geki then fled, leaving Darex to struggle to get Aerec off the doomed Heracles. In the midst of the fighting, Darla had slipped off unnoticed to follow her own destiny and try to restore her forgotten memories. Knowing there was no way to pursue her, Darex took Aerec to the recreated Helix Station, where he was healed by Darex's former master, Skye Organa. It was after much struggle at rehabilitation that Aerec finally passed all of his master's tests, and received Knighthood in the Jedi Order.

Darex then knew he had to pursue Darla, being warned of a dangerous fate for her in a vision. So he headed off to Bespin, fully expecting an encounter with Kakuto Ryu, former Dark Lord of the Sith and one of the most dangerous men in the galaxy. There they fought, and in the end, Darex was the last man standing. He carried Darla back to his ship, then searched for Kakuto among the wreckage of the carbonite chamber, but the Sith had vanished.

They traveled to Haruun Kal for some rest and recouperation, where Darex gave Dahar Raikanda his trials and had an interesting meeting with "Lusef Aryan". After that, they traveled to Gala, where Darex participated in many long council meetings about the state of the galaxy and the Jedi's role in the new Galactic Alliance. He then traveled with Skye and Darla along with some apprentices to the Golden Link Casino, where Skye healed the proprietor Brina Thalin, and continued on their way to Corellia for a proper vacation at Skye's mother's estate. It was there that Darex proposed to Darla, and that she finally told him the news she had known for some time--that she was pregnant.

The Jedi were then recalled to Tython, and Darex spent several months there, sitting in Council meetings, teaching hopeful classes, and building his relationship with Darla. In the middle of this, he was called away to Corellia with Master Starlisk to confront Jidai Geki and a Hutt Sith who were threatening a hospital. They diffused the situation, but Geki still activated the bomb.

Darex was cloned and found himself on Tython three days later. Soon after that, at the death of the former Grandmaster, he and Kirlocca were elected co-Grandmasters by the Council.

Darla's time had arrived by this point, and she gave birth to twins, who they named Alana and Jax Trevelian.

With the safety of the twins being of paramount importance, Darex and Darla relocated to the Eternal Vigilance, knowing that the mobile base would be as secure a situation as possible to raise their children away from the prying eyes of the Sith and Black Sun. During this time, Darex worked mostly from the sidelines, setting up resources for the Jedi Order and commissioning a new temple on Lehon. However, there were several things of note that occurred during this time. Kirlocca was exiled from the Jedi Order, leaving Darex as the sole Grandmaster, and the Arach'tar attempted to make a new invasion on the galaxy, but were stopped on Onderon by Darex and his fellow master Onderin Starlisk.

Not long after the twins' 3rd birthday, Darex felt called to Lehon. There, he took on his fifth apprentice, Scorpius Tenshu. The apprenticeship didn't last long, however, as the man felt led to other pursuits.

Eventually, Faust came back into the picture in the galaxy, this time with a ritual that would destroy the Force as a whole, opening wounds across many planets in the galaxy. Knowing that Faust had to be stopped at any cost, Darex joined Onderin Starlisk in a final battle, a duel against Faust for the fate of the galaxy. In the end, the Jedi prevailed, though it cost them their lives. Darex is known to the galaxy as a hero, the ultimate Jedi who sacrificed himself to save the galaxy.
